Okay - it's 81 degrees, with about a 10mph breeze, and about 60% humidity. For FL in May, that's PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't want to come back in, but alas, I must.

Anything below 85 in FL is perfect. lol....

Actually the weather has been really nice in TX so far this year. It's only been hot one day so far.

Very true!

Actually, I remember when I lived out there, it wasn't all that bad until really the end of June and into July - that's when it seemed to really heat up. I remember going to an evening class and it still being over 100 degrees. But, the humidity was like 30%, so it was tolerable.

People talk about humidity here and I laugh.
And ugh, I'll be working at disney in JULY!!!

Oh, I know! They complain at 50%! I'd KILL for 50% humidity in July.

You are? I'm SO sorry! But, hey, DAY TRIP (for me, at least) to Disney.

Cowtown. aka Fort Worth.

Still can't believe they call a city "Cowtown". Much less glamourous than "The city of brotherly love" or "The Big Apple"

Oh, but it has the most awesome architecture combinations - I loved Ft Worth - MUCH better than Dallas. There are some AWESOME museums there. Can't remember the name right now, but I saw the Barnes Collection there back in 94/95.

They don't, but not too far south (at least back then, certainly NOT now - we're talking 1976), down at the intersection of Route 30 and I65, there were plenty of cows there.

Hi everyone. My dailyjoy - I have the right calander after all!!!! Until today I thought someone had given me the wrong calander and that it was really November not May . It has been so cold and nasty it really felt like winter was just starting, not suposed to be ending. Today, though, is beautiful. Sunny, warm, beautiful!

Glad to see you have all been trying to keep Ed honest about this obsession of his, keep up the good work.

Work has been so busy I just can't keep up with you guys- but don't get too excited, this too shall end and I WILL BE BACK....

Really???? They were always fun...........

The host was usually a JO amish. People would park on different roads surrounding a corn field and look for the red or yellow flag hanging off the leaves of a corn stalk........you would follow a marked trail.......almost like a corn maize except the paths were not cleared and the markings were secret so others couldn't follow them........then at the end of the trail, which was often in a different corn field then where you started to throw off the law(and the farmer who didn't know his field was being used for the party).........would be a huge clearing with chairs, food and of course beer.........mostly people drank and talked.........

The actual party was never that much fun for me but I loved getting there and leaving........especially when it was pitch dark with only the moon to guide you.........LOL

For those in non-corn states........Corn grows very tall and limits your visibility making getting lost very easy.

Man I still have 20 minutes to kill before I leave for tutoring........not enough time to start a new project but too long of a time to sit her bored........

Now everyone has gone from the other thread and I am bored

So I figured I would just come here and talk to myself.........for entertainment purposes not to find answers to any of the questions in my mind.....
