The Kingdom Heirs are making an amazing surge in my playlists lately. They're poised to become my very favorite group. "The Rock's Between The Hard Place And You" is a great song and I predict it'll be Top 10 for 2008 in the SN Awards. "What We Needed" will very likely be at least a top 5 single if not number 1.

It's a great song, no question, but I thought Crossroads was pushing "What We Needed" (my favorite song on the CD! ) in their nominations ad.

Very interesting! Coincidentally, I was pretty surprised that "The Rock's Between" was their first single, but I eventually warmed up to it. That said, "What We Needed" is easily the best song off the project (IMO) and if Crossroads is pushing it, maybe it'll be the nominated song! Worst case scenario is the KH vote being split between the two songs and neither one making it.

"I Want You To Know" is also an amazing song from that album.

We sure are looking forward to the re-opening of Dollywood in March. Hope to be there for season pass holders days and we'll start with seeing ALL the Kingdom Heirs shows.

I'm not sure what's up with the record companies. Daywind did the same with Triumphant - released a song first that wasn't the best song on the album for some unknown reason. My personal feeling was that they were wanting to push the writer as much as the song.

I loved "Don't Let the Sandals Fool Ya!"

Actually, that did more than any other song to get me to liking TQ's sound. Granted, that album had one other song that would have done the same for me ("Forgave Me, Saved Me, Raised Me.")

I believe they meant "He Rescued Me", which is a good song, but nowhere near as good as their current single, "The Great I Am Still Is."

Interesting how different people can view songs differently. I thought "The Great I Am Still Is" was an okay song, but there were actually seven or eight songs on the project I liked a little more.

Well, I do think their next release should be "He Will Be" or "I Know I'm Going Home". I'd like to see the latter go first, though.

I don't wish to be overly negative so take this the right way, but I didn't think "You Gotta Love It" quite had the "punch" that "Triumphant" had. "He Rescued Me" was pretty good, "The Great I Am Still Is" is pretty good, and "I Know I'm Going Home" is catchy, but it left me wanting something just a little more - just my opinion.

"True To The Call" was hands-down the best quartet release of 2007 IMO.

I'll agree to that. I can honestly say I liked every song on that release.

Exactly. When a great song like "The Rock's Between the Hard Place and You" is only my fifth favorite song off the release that shows just how strong I feel that it is.

Dollywood is closed on Tuesdays during the month of April. A week or two out you can check Dollywood schedule and it will tell you the times and days they are singing as well as the other shows. Usually KH has another day off during the week.

I read somewhere once that Arthur Rice once toured with his wife. Did he and his wife ever record a cd and if so have any of you heard it?

Steve told me a while back that they were going to re-record "Now I Am On My Way To Heaven" on an upcoming album. Probably "Series Two."

It's just 9 more days until the sneak peak preview at Dollywood. I can hardly wait. Kingdom Heirs five times a week- I wish- but I will be there several times, I would like to meet any heirheads that will be at Dollywood to see KH in March and April.

We're gonna be there several times during March & April. We'll be there for sneak preview days, and again April 11-13.

Recently I heard the Kingdom Heirs during their tour. It was a great night, weather was good, the Church was ready for a great night and the Kingdom Heirs sang the greatest music, Southern Gospel. Just wished they could have stayed all night and not quit singing.

Steve did an alter call that would have dropped you to your knees. It was very moving, sincere and came from the heart and you could feel the Holy Spirit in that Church. We all had our heads down and eyes closed, but I don't think there was a sinner left in that Church. They did sing one more song and then Steve closed with prayer.

I wish he would do this at Dollywood every performance, every day.

Looks like the guys got nominated for a lot of awards this round. Hopefully Arthur will finally get the recognition he really deserves. Good luck to the rest of the guys.
