I'm trying to remember who I saw in the audience last night. I know Jennifer Beals from Flashdance was there but for the life of me at the moment I can't remember who was next to her.

Adam's "excuse" was, to me, very obviously tongue-in-cheek. He may be funny on this show, but he's normally vulgar and sexist. Let's remember this is the guy who hosted The Man Show. Can't expect class from trash.

Is it too early to say nobody's gonna out-dance Kristi? She may not win the popularity contest, but there's nobody even close.

Henry Winkler was in the audience, too. I didn't recognize most of the other people but figured many were family members.

Actually, I WAS THAT STUPID!! When he said it on TV, I felt such relief, and I didn't realize he was telling a lie until I read this thread. [:o] I feel dumb now![&o]

I think it is safe to say she will win. Although she denies it, the skating DOES give her an advantage, because a lot of skating is based on dance. In fact, most skaters take dance lessons on the side. Plus, as someone else mentioned, she was also a pairs skater for a number of years, so as same person mentioned, she has experience working with a partner.

Mario Lopez also had had SOME dance background, not nesc. ballroom, and that did help him get so far that year, I believe.

Penn had to go last night, but Monica should have not gone. To me, she did better than Steve and Adam.

yeah but out of all the females she was the "worst" in the dance category. I wish Adam had gone, but not because of his horrible dancing.

I thought they said on monday that one woman and one man would go, so it doesn't matter if Steve and Adam did worse at this point.

yup...they did (but per that poster's responses in other threads of this nature they feel it is "unfair" to not toss out the bottom two no matter what their gender is. So I am not surprised they brought it up in here too)

I still have to watch last night's episode. I have to tape Tuesday's shows.

I agree with the others that said they did not think Marlee was that good on Monday. I didn't think she was great either, nor did I think Priscilla was great either.

I agree that a lot of the men need to work on their feet.

I'ts just a thought...

Secondly, I have a beef on these results shows and that is instead of letting it play out for an hour, announce who is going home so they can be out of their misery. One hour is way, way too long..

I did not jump all over you...I was explaining to Kath that in several other threads you have said the same general thing with regard to their kicking off certain genders in certain orders...and you have. You are entitled to your opinion, but that's the way the game is played...they (the producers) wanted one man and one woman gone first...so that's how they set it up to go. You can like it or not, but that's just how it is.

it's interesting so far this week, I think Adam Carolla is such a butthead, he made such a jerky comment. That guy really rubs me the wrong way.
I can't tell who is going home this week.

Amen to that! In spite of what he said before, his comment still[sm=icon_smile_yikes.gif] (that's picture talk for shocked, in this case) me. I thought he was going to try to clean up his act after the reaction to his first verbal blunder. I feel sorry for the girl who got partnered with him. She seems embarresed (ARGH, I respell that word 20,000 times, and the spell check still underlines it wrong), and yet like she doesn't really know how to handle what he is doing.

yeah, I feel bad for her too, she's a nice girl, and to be partnered with someone who obviously doesn't like women...*sigh*
Hopefully, they'll get eliminated soon, and she'll never have to see him again!

If you right click on a word that the spell checker has underlined, a window will pop up giving you a list of options of what word it thinks you're trying to spell. You click on that one and, voila. correctly spelled word. :)

I'm not sure how much of a fan base Adam has, but it would be nice if he was gone next week. He is improving as a dancer, but I'd rather not have to listen to him much longer. I like an unusual sense of humor, but his humor leans toward the rude side.

I felt bad for Marissa when they said her dance was boring-but I also thought they were correct. With her personality, that seemed like it would be her dance.

I too feel badly that Julieanne got paired with such a schmuck! She is young-21 or under, so she probably does not know how to handle him. Now Edyta or Karina would have known how to handle him.

Since Julieanne won twice in a row, I knew they would apir her with a non-dancer. They did the same thing to Cheryl last season-she had won twice in a row and the third time they made sure to pair her with someone who was a poor dancer-so that they won't win a third time in a row, I guess.

Adam's humor (if it's humor) even makes him really uncomfortable and akward and it's just a matter of him knowing to shut his mouth.
I really like Jason and Kristy.

I do think, though, that if Steve had done that hilarious "mango" with Jonathan last night instead of tonight, he probably would've gotten more votes. [:D]

I watched it a couple of times, it was hilarious. Jonathan looks so good in a tux too!
