yes but the key there is that the German people are not rude about it. Americans are and have been for a long time...and that isn't going to change in general, so those of us that are tired of the rudeness are finally getting our way about it. We have been pushed around by the rudeness of this society for years...and had to deal with it...it's time to take the bull by the horns and show him where he can go...OUTSIDE...and AWAY FROM DOORS...that's where that mess belongs!!!

However, there are those of us who also want to BREATHE...and to TALK --- which I can't do if I'm around many types of perfumed scented products: hair-spray, after-shave, cologne, some types of deodorants, scented candles, scented rug & room freshers, some furnisher cleaners & polishes. and etc. Scents people wear, and things used, in Public places daily, but you don't hear me complaining (only stating a fact) and or try to change the laws to prevent the use of these products just because I have a personal problem being around them.
I am not just allergic to cig smoke...I am allergic to perfumes, soaps (esp dove soap...I can't even walk down that isle at the store!!!), strong smells (except food). Yet I can avoid those a whole lot more easily then I can smoke from a cigarette. I can't walk through the mall stores usually (because of their perfume counters)...I have to avoid certain women at church who think half a bottle of spray stuff smells good to them.....I have to put up with a headache that is immediately there before I even realize that I have smelled something that has set me off....but those I can put up with more then anything else....why? because my allergic reaction to those things does not cause as many deaths a year as smoking does...because my smelling those things isn't possibly going to give me cancer in the future...because overall (except in the extreme case) those smells are "good" smells and people enjoy them...I don't but other people do. I don't know one person who stands in a smoke filled room, breathes in a deep breath of the second hand smoke, and loves the smell of it. People do enjoy breathing in the nice calming smells of candles, soaps, deodorants, perfumes, etc...things I can't do.....but those things aren't going to KILL them later because of it!!!

my moms church has the policy now for nursery workers and volunteers...I had to talk to them about it when Jake was a baby because of him getting and keeping upper respiratory infections so easily...and they were glad to accommodate us in that area. They had never though about it before....but now they do and make it a point to tell volunteers to not wear those things when they have nursery duty.
