I haven't been around much lately... but wanted to share this! I have been losing again (finally!). I was up to 224 after gaining back some weight after a broken toe last year and a VERY stressful year. I am now down to 207! I have been basically eating a banana for breakfast and then two modest meals, as much fruit/veggies in between as I want... plus a treat- a brownie (homemade), popcorn, etc. Oh, and two glasses of calcium fortified OJ (allergic to dairy). I started making bulk meals again, because that always seems to help me- I don't have to think about what to eat, just grab a meal from the fridge. I have been on vacation from work (only 2 days left!), so wanted to get as many meals in the freezer as possible. I will have enough to cover the next two weeks at least. I have also been faithfully walking DAILY and try for an hour, but always get at least 30 min in. Even better than the numbers on the scale- my clothes are looser, I feel better/more energy, and I definitely have more endurance/strength! I can run up the stairs now without getting winded. I don't have to stop to rest while walking up some of the local steep, long hills I walk. I don't feel depreived or anything, either. I did have one day where I was hungry- not having cravings or anything, just rumbling stomach, so I baked a couple small potatoes and had them with olive oil and I was fine. Now... the challenge is going to be keeping this up once I am back to work on Tuesday! It is discouraging to me, though, that I am still 20 lbs heavier than I was... For the longest time, I had maintained around 180. So, even though I have been losing, I don't feel better, just less bad... if that mkes sense. Tara P
