It has come to my attention that, even after several hundred pages of pithy commentary, there are still many burdens that need to be laid down.

So I am opening a storefront confessional on the corner of Ask Anything Avenue and Tell It All Street.

My friends appear ready and willing to continue to share their considerable wit and wisdom.

SO: If you have a story that needs to be told, a gem of wisdom that should be shared, or a question that begs to be answered regarding regarding sports, entertainment, history, philosophy, theology, medicine, current events, popular culture, or any other subject of interest to the current or future Southern Gospel fan, draw near and you shall be heard.

If you can't tell it or ask it here, best keep it to yourself.

Kerr: Why do we park on the driveway and drive on the parkway?

(Sorry! It's the question that has to be asked every thread.)

Subscribing and confessing that my opinion of meetings is...

None of us is as dumb as ALL of us.

I have to go to a meeting soon, hence my comment.

It's part of the sinful nature of man.

It's become firmly established as a tradition now, don't you think?!?!?!

Kerr I have no plans for Easter and everyone keeps asking what I plan to do. Can you tell me what my plans are?

Tell them that you are planning to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.

That should bumfuzzle them long enough to let you escape.

Then you can eat Easter eggs and chocolate rabbits in peace.

Since this is a "confessional"........... These are some of my pet peeves...... Easter eggs, Easter Egg hunts, Easter bunnies.......
Maybe I shouldn't get started on it!!!

I DO like to call Good Friday, Crucifixion Day and Easter Sunday, Resurrection Day.

We call it Resurrection Day too. And we call Halloween "Reformation Day" since it marks the day Luther nailed his 95 Thesis to the door of the church, starting the whole thing.

But I'll call St. Patrick's Day by its rightful name since he was such a cool guy with a cool story---and I'm Irish.

Just don't bring up the "Santa" thing, our Santa might be a little touchy on that subject! LOL

Hey guys, another thing! , i didn't want to start a whole thread about this, so i'll just post it here, I am now a member of the Grand Jury in Cuyahoga County ; Cleveland, Ohio. As of last Friday, it will last for 4 months, but only one day a week. It is very interesting!

Oooo --- you'll have to tell us about anything interesting that happens (when you can). I've been on several civil and criminal juries but never a grand jury.

I was once on a jury where the convicted guy escaped from the county jail a little while after the trial where we convicted him! I finally convinced myself that he wouldn't bother to look me up to come after me!!! And they re-captured him a week or so later.

I confess that I had my gears crankin' in another direction when Brenda, in the now layed to rest "Bring the Head" thread, gave the suggestion of
"Stump Kerrlaw". *sigh*.

Now I am envisioning a priest. With a law degree.

OK, if this is a confessional, I suppose I should confess...

When I was a little kid, sometimes I would sneak cookies from the cookies jar...

That's why it pays to own your own cookie jar... Then it's not stealing...

Your Eminence, Father Kerrlaw,

I confess that Memaw's question still has me .

"Why is it that TP comes in small squares for bottoms so large, while paper towels come in large squares for hands so small?" Memaw
