Are we automatically excluded if we don't know how to use the little picture/avatar things? I am sooo computer illiterate [sm=popsigh.gif] (don't ask how long it took to get this one...) I like all the quotes, if there's a vote I vote for all of them. Thinking about this one for my sig line (if I can remember where I heard it): "No one has a G-d given right to make a living off of my child"

Okay- Avatar Step by step visual aid... I threw this together using screen shots: AV Upload Step by Step Crosswalk <--Click link then click the first thumbnail and through to the last for step by step... I did it from clicking the link in this thread and saving the image to your desktop then coming back to this site and uploading it. Please note you MUST have like 50 or 75 posts or some such before you can upload and use your own avatar. IF you tried before you had the proper number of posts it wouldn't work for you even if you did the samba and sang amazing grace as you hit the apply button in the last step. ~ezri

(the 2005 date you see on some people is for the new forums) I still don't know how to do a custom avatar. I had to have help from my friends when I've done it before. I had a picture of dh and myself that some friends helped me with. Then I put up a custom avatar that Ezri made for Fritz's birthday one year. After his birthday I took the avatar off and had no idea what I did with the old one or how to find it, so that's why I have no avatar. I don't want one of the avatars that are provided.

The book with: World Domination (no Skulls) Revenge of the Homeschooler Homeschoolers Rule the World Homeschoolers for World Domination World Domination (with Skulls) Others: One Way Sign with "World Domination" on it. Danger sign with "Unsocialized Homeschooler" on it. Movie sign with "Revenge of the Unsocialized Homeschooler" on it. I made these using imagechef on my facebook acct. I saved and resized them for use on CW. feel free to use any you like. AVATAR UPLOAD DIRECTIONS!!! all done up with Screen Shots so you can SEE what steps to take and where to click AND get a glimpse of my cluttered desktop[;)] if the image is too small to read you can click "ALL SIZES" just above the image to make it bigger. Step #1 Step #2 Step #3 Step #4<---cluttered desktop... Step #5 Step #6 Step #7 Step #8 Step #9 Step #10 It looks like a lot of steps but it really doesn't take very long at all. I think the thing that messes up most folks is Step #10. They get the little screen saying the "file uploaded successfully" and they think that is all there is to it but you MUST scroll down and click APPLY for the changes to take affect. ~ezri

You were supposed to give us options before we voted, Ezri! We're taking over the world on Tuesday and we're going to run out of time here! [8D] Ezri, thanks for taking the skulls off the world domination book. If everyone just really wants one of the other ones, speak now or forever hold your peace. If not, I think the world domination book is probably going to be the one to go with. We'll need to work on our signature line, and decide exactly what we are going to do (the third posting prong) in the next few days, so put your creative thinking cap on!

Yuppers- if you wanna do the books with some sort of world domination message on them I can whip them up fairly quickly. we'd all have the same books with similar titles. As for not giving them all before- I did not wanna seem to be taking over YOUR world domination. See, I have been trying to take over the world since like FOREVER! ~ezri

Okay- I just tried the right click on the avatars single view page(the URL's I gave above) and it bumped the size up just over 10k making them too big[8\|]. You must go HERE<-- the main page and right click the av you want to use to do the "save as" step and get the file small enough to use here. also the Domination in the 21st century av can be seen HERE ~ezri

Okay, fellow conspiritors, it looks like the World Domination book is the top choice, so everyone needs to pick one they like or get with Ezri to have their own unique book title and prepare their avatars. World takeover is scheduled for tomorrow. We still need to vote on a quote. Have we all agreed on the idea of taking a quote and splitting it up, or did we want to consider any other signature ideas? I've thought of a third posting prong idea as well. I was thinking we could use subliminal messages to take over the world, by using the words "homeschool" and "world domination" in all of our posts tomorrow. We do need to be very careful to not take posts off topic, so we might need to be creative in the ways we sneak those in. For example, if we were in a thread about natural child birth, we could post something like the following: Before I started homeschooling, I gave birth to my first child. We didn't have him at home, rather we had him in the hospital. There were nurses there who had graduated from nursing school, but they were good world nurses and weren't into domination.
