Thanks for the high five.

I have a Siamese as well, who speaks in some sort of tongue...no interpretation either. Although it's hard to tell with her because sometimes she seems rather dervish-like.

I would not mind a conversion and vow of silence. I've taken care of the celibacy part.

I had a Himalayan (Siamese/Persian) and she spoke a different language as well.

I finally did learn one phrase though, she would say "purrr (have to roll your tongue like you are speaking Spanish) beep beep".

Translation:
Hey, I know you are still in bed but I am hungry and yes I realize there is food left in my bowl but you know I do not eat left overs and since you put that there last night it is now stale and until you dump out what is left in the bowl or at least pick up the bag and shake the bowl to "freshen" the left overs I will sit on your throat.

Finally, proof of reincarnation! Your cat now lives in my house.

I am so glad!

I have never cried over losing a cat until Cassandra Louise (Cassie to those closest to her ) died.

Cassie was the long haired, more like Persian, but same coloring.

When she died, she left us with 4 three week old babies to take care of.
I just know she is in Heaven right now fetching "paper" balls.

She was a Christian....I know because she acted just like all the other Christians I know.

My dog is really flaky. Not sure what religion that would make him. His name is Rocky because we are sure he has rocks where his brain should be.

My cat thinks she is a god. What would that be?

The fish think god is all around them, in the water, the bubbles, and of course, the food.

I don't know what religion my pets are but my dog is a republican and the cat is a democrat...and they enjoy taunting each other into a chase around the house.

I don't recommend it.

However they do come up "speaking in tongues".

My dog Katie does a dervish kind of spinning when she's happy, so maybe she's Sufi.

My mother-in-law has a dog, and we think she's atheist. Every time my mother-in-law reads the Bible out loud, or prays out loud, the dog takes off, goes right upstairs and goes to bed.

Sounds like your fish are pantheists

My dog is a Christian. I honestly try to be more like her. Loving, kind, loyal, concerned about other's pain.
