ORIGINAL: DeeAnnBailey At one time (over 2 years ago) I saw the Mckameys several weeks in a row - Peg's shoes came off on almost the same note every time. Now I'm not going to say the Lord didn't bless her. But a friend with me said 'her feet must hurt a lot, she is always kicking off her shoes'. This person was new to SGM and until those weekends never heard the McKameys. That being said they probably have the most dedicated, loyal fans of anyone in the business. They will turn out for a love offering or a ticket, they will come out in snow, rain or sun shine. The do-wap moves - a little goes a long way with me. 1 song or a few small moves in a couple of songs is about my limit. The movements that distract me from what is being sung bother me, not saying they are wrong just that 'it don't work for me'. I admit to being easily distracted, if that were not the case it probably would not bother me as bad. Once again, Ms. DeeAnn, I agree with you! I have seen the McKameys once, and Peg's shoes did come off. As far as the moves, you said it very well. I can't state it any better than you did.
