Greenes Announce Major Change For Gospel Singing Jubilee

INDIAN TRAIL, NC (Press Release) - The 26th Annual Gospel Singing Jubilee will be held in the beautiful city of Marion, North Carolina. A small mountain community, their motto is "Where main street meets the mountains." Located in close proximity to Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, and Linville Caverns, Marion offers all the amenities of a mountain community, at a fraction of the cost of Boone.

The Gospel Singing Jubilee will be held July 31 - August 2. Make your plans now to attend the Jubilee, held at Rally Park, a 20 acre facility which is located next to Tom Johnson Camping Center in Marion, North Carolina. Rally Park offers a pavillion that can seat up to 5,000 people. They also offer over 350 camping sites with 30 amp power, water, and sewer taps for each site, as well as handicapped accessible bathouses. The park is located just a short distance off Interstate 40, and you have to go right by Wal-Mart to get there.

No advance tickets will be sold and no reservations are required for camping facilities. We have reserved the entire campground for the Gospel Singing Jubilee.

Paul Lancaster Joins The Greenes

INDIAN TRAIL, NC(Singing News) - Tony Greene has informed Singing News that Paul Lancaster has been named as the newest member of the Greenes, replacing Brad Hudson. Hudson is leaving the road and has accepted a position as a worship leader at a church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Paul is no stranger to Southern Gospel music, having performed with groups such as the Mullins, Martins, and Everyday Driven. He has also filled in with groups such as Karen Peck & New River, Booth Brothers, and most recently, the Blackwood Gospel Quartet.

Thanks for the info! I thought I'd heard/read the baby would be here March 23.

I have a friend who was born on April 1. She's approaching 50, and each year people still try to make her birthday memorable!

The 26th Annual Gospel Singing Jubilee dates are July 31 - August 3, 2008. The artists scheduled to appear are: McKameys, Brian Free & Assurance, Primitive Quartet, Hoppers, Greater Vision, Ivan Parker, Triumphant Quartet, Perrys, Dixie Echoes, Freemans, and of course, your hosts, the Greenes.

Should be good nights at the Greene's Annual Jubilee.
They were in Knoxville over the weekend but I had to work. Did anyone from the forums see them?

I will be attending the Jubilee on Saturday 8/2/08 for Perrys, Triumphant Qt, Dixie Echoes, Freemans and Greenes. It is gonna be a good day!
