I hate to see Jason go. After 13 years he's become as much a fixture to Greater Vision as the other two are. BUT I applaud his decision to follow God's will. I truly believe he loves singing with this group as much as anyone possibly could. This must have been a very difficult decision to give up something he loves so much. I wanna take it one step further though and also applaud Gerald and Rodney for their honestly and the mass support they are showing to Jason through this move. Everything has been so forthright and honest. Many times you hear the excuses why some guys leave a group and then you notice later although they SAID they wanted to be off the road awhile, a month later they're with another group and you just have to wonder what the problem was that made them leave the other one. You know it can't be easy for every personality to fit together well and sometimes when that happens it's like a group makes every excuse in the world to justify the change without telling the truth about how that decision was made. In THIS case, I have no doubt whatsoever that it's all above board, the love between these guys as friends is still there and always will be. I don't know how long it's been since I seen such a change in a group and didn't have to wonder if the people were just having trouble getting along with each other. I'm excited to hear Jacob Kitson with Greater Vision and although I will miss Jason terribly, I think God will honor both Jason and this group and I suspect the change will be great regardless of the fact that none of us want to see Jason leave. Have you noticed that people don't just come and go with Greater Vision like they do with some groups? I like that, and it looks really good. Speaks very well of the Christianity and committment of these fellows. They're not the only ones, but it seems sometimes there are way too many changes in some groups and leaves too much to wonder about. God Bless Greater Vision and the lives of al these men.
