Please, pray for my wife RIGHT NOW! She's in the OR for the double lung transplant surgery that will save her life! I covet your prayers over the next 7-9 hours.

Lord Jesus, I ask for Your Comfort and Your Peace to descend upon Nate and all of Tricia's loved ones during the next several hours. I ask Your Wisdom and Guidance for the doctors and nurses in the operating room. I thank you, Father, that we live in a time where the technology to do this is available.

I pray for an smooth operation and a quick recovery for Tricia.

Watch over Gwyneth as well, Lord. Thank you so much that we have been able to be even a small part of her life and to watch her grow.

Abba, I also ask for Your Comfort to cover the family and friends of the donor as they grieve the lost of their loved one. Thank you for this person's selflessness in being an organ donor in the first place.

May Your Will be done in all of this and may it all be for Your Glory and Your Honor, Lord.

Lord, you are the GREAT healer and I ask you to heal "iratenate's" Wife. God, that her new lungs would begin to work and be infection free because you have breathed into her and blessed her body. God, give her more life that she would sing praise's to you louder.

Note from Nate's Dad:

"Surgery complete! We were notified at 6:30 (this morning) that the surgery was complete and just had a conversation with the surgeon. It was a difficult surgery due to the extent of Tricia's disease, but she is now in ICU and we should be able to see her soon."

Thank you so much Lord for seeing Tricia through this very difficult surgery. Now comes the recovery period. Please be with her and heal and restore her quickly, Lord. Continue to grow little Gwyneth strong and comfort and give courage to Nate. It has been no small miracle that You have done in the lives of this precious family, Lord and we acknowledge that and give You glory for it.

Probably most of you realize this, but April 2nd was Nate's birthday. His father had posted this:

I thought that was amazing. I can't imagine a better birthday present for Nate than his wife getting her new lungs. God is good...and timely!

Praying for a complete and speedy recovery, and that God's peace and strength are felt by Tricia and her entire family. I pray she astounds the doctors with the speed of her rehabilitation!
