ORIGINAL: LBolt I see you are back at in the "Lawless" thread. LOL I wonder how many more times you'll have to repeat yourself by answering the exact same questions? [X(] LOL Glad to hear from you in the threads. I guess I'll always be a lurker. I avoided it for years, but it seemed to be the time to venture into the abyss. lol. I may repeat myself to newbies, but doubt I'll be doing much repeating to the same old crowd. lol. I'll probably be your "amen" corner. lol. Hi all, back again as things are quiet at the yahoo group. To graftedin, sounds like you have some family that have taken things to extremes asserting your hubby will die if he works on the Sabbath, we should call Jesus Yeshua, and dietary instructions need to be observed. Perhaps they are zealous being new to this expression of faith, hopefully in time, they will simmer while remaining seriously committed to our LORD. I think you can find some helpful resources at www.tnnonline.net, and browse their FAQ section. Topics are arranged by alphabetical order and in general seem balanced. Also, see their link called torah scope, and read the commentary for I think it's Leviticus 11, about food. From either their FAQ or torah scope, you'll get insight into yourself, our Lord, and your family. If you can talk to the family remind them we are all saved by faith, and over time we become more and more obedient as our love grows for the Savior. Sounds like they have it reversed. I don't attend a messianic congregation either but daily am being more and more what the Savior wants me to be but have a long long way to go yet and am 55 years old.. My faith has been enriched though since discovering the Hebrew roots of our faith, and since Jesus/Yeshua made a commitment to me, I want to do the same, deciding daily to do so. We here, speaking for the rest of the forum, will pray with you for you and your family. Don't expect change overnight though and your watchfulness though painful, is admirable, keep it up! David
