It's set for a May release...don't know a specific date, though.

I'm in the process of listening to it now and all I can say is "WOW!!" This is one of the BEST Kingsmen albums I've heard in a while. The new sound is great, and the song selection is phenomenal. I love the mix of upbeat songs with a few stellar slow songs like "When God Ran." Throw in an interesting bluegrass number for variety and you have a WINNER! A special thanks to Crossroads for making this contest available.

descisions desicions...see i REALLY wanna download this new kingsmen album. Of course, I hate to think i won't get the art work and the cover ect. I always enjoy reading the liner notes and all. aarrg

Don't you get the artwork with the download? I'll have to check it out and see. I know that sometimes you do when you download a whole album...but I haven't tried the link on this one yet.
On EDIT: I've tried it now and I see that you don't get the artwork with the whole album download. This is new territory for Southern Gospel...drop them a line and see if they'll consider making it part of the package. Even if they charged a buck or two for the artwork download, it would still be a pretty good deal vs. buying the CD off the shelf.

Hey Guys,
I noticed on this link, Kingsmen - When God Ran, that the release date is April 10, 2008. I was just wondering if this CD has already been released.
I am going to call the Kingsmen's office tomorrow and see. By the way, see if the preview song on the above mentioned link works for yall becaus it didnt work for me.

Ok, I'm so not up on SG music these days, and hadn't heard about this. However, I have a cassette tape with a song by this name -- sung by Phil Enloe, not that I expect anyone has heard of him -- and I'm wondering if it is the same song, cuz it's an awesome song. I'd love to hear it by the Kingsmen. Anyway . . the song has the words (hope it's ok to post them here) . . .
". . . then he ran to me, took me in his arms, held my head to his chest, said 'my son's come home again', lifted my face, wiped the tears from my eyes and said 'son, do ya know i still love you . . . "
Would this be the same one??

Hey...I won a copy of the cd download but I can't get the thing completely processed. I followed the directions down to the part of the promo code. After the promo code, the e-mail said their would be a page that needed credit card info. The only problem is that the page doesn't appear when I finish the promo code submission. Does anyone know what's going on with it? I can't figure it out...it's frustrating! I've been wanting to hear it soo bad...lol.. Thanks-for any info!!!

Hey everyone,
The actual street date for the new CD "When God Ran" is May 13. Due to us giving away the download to the contest winners we altered the date so the download would happen automatically. If we hadn't the download would have showed up in your download account then. Thanks for all the support and keep coming back. We'll be adding new things every day. We just wanted to get this out as soon as we could.
