selahgirl -> Pray for Pastor TD Jakes (4/10/2008 1:22:44 PM)
|
Nothing has happened that I am aware of, but he has been strongly on my heart lately. I don't know why. I love his ministry on TV, but do not watch it regularly. I have just been burdened for him this week for some reason, as though he is under a heavy weight or something. Father, let your presence come upon Pastor Jakes and flood his entire being with your power and your grace. I don't know if he is in a season of blessing or trial but I just ask that you would keep your hedge of protection around him and that you would cause the enemy to flee from him. Whatever the deepest needs of his heart and his life are in this moment, I pray that you would meet them with miracles according to your wisdom and your mercy. In the name of Jesus. This man of God has walked with such faithfulness, he is human and has his weaknesses, but his heart is set on you Lord. Remember him in this hour, whatever is happening. If he is missing his mom, if he is concerned about a family member, if he is being pressured or oppressed by people or spirits, if he is doubting himself... whatever he is facing in this hour... whatever may come against him in the near future... make his defenses strong. Bring your word and your promises to his mind. We love this man of God Father. We know your love for him. In the name of Jesus. Sometimes we forget that the man of God is as fragile as the rest of us, and we neglect to pray. Fill Pastor Jakes with courage and strength. Refresh his spirit and his body. Encourage his heart and comfort anything that he might be hurting about. He walks with such anointing, with such gifting, and such things are a weight at times. He battles for the people of God against spiritual darkness that we cannot fathom. You called him and fashioned him for this purpose, work your perfect will in every area of his life. If he needs to check himself, then make him able to do it with sincerity as David did. If he is under attack, then surround him with your angels and with faithful friends and family. If he is at a place of joy or a crossroads, then give him direction of the next step you would have him to walk. In the name of Jesus. Remember our brother Lord. Bless him and keep him as only you can. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
