I am also always on the look out for manager's specials when it comes to meat or discounted meat that is still good just has to be sold that day type stuff. Right now my freezer is bare, but at certain times its full. It just depends on the deals I find, if we have had company, etc. as to how far our stockpile goes.

Auben -> RE: Full Or Bare Cupboards? (4/14/2008 3:31:44 PM) More full then bare. We're trying to eat more local food which means I stock up rather than do a bunch of driving every week. The meat will last us til the fall. The flour should last a few months. We'd be out of eggs, milk, and juice in a week though.
