Between the cupboard stockpile and the full freezers (two chest, one above the fridge) I could pull enough food together to last us a couple of months at least. We'd get bored without as much variety, and we'd probably run out of home canned and frozen veggies, but we wouldn't starve.

I am trying to create a stockpile of non perishable items in my pantry. I am also always on the look out for manager's specials when it comes to meat or discounted meat that is still good just has to be sold that day type stuff. Right now my freezer is bare, but at certain times its full. It just depends on the deals I find, if we have had company, etc. as to how far our stockpile goes.

More full then bare. We're trying to eat more local food which means I stock up rather than do a bunch of driving every week.

The meat will last us til the fall. The flour should last a few months. We'd be out of eggs, milk, and juice in a week though.
