I once was at a Bible study where the subject of the feelings of plants came up.

Is that why they say you should talk nicely to your plants?

I guess I'll go apologize to my plants now for anything I might have said that might have upset them....

Now I need to do something because all of the plants that I had, died. I did not mean to kill them off, I just did.

So if murdering God's creatures is a bad thing, farmers must really be in trouble. After all, seeds are God's creation too... and for a plant to grow, the seed must die. Jesus said so.

*now that was a stretch*

Uh oh! I think somewhere on another thread there were those of us who refused to name the creatures that were being fattened up to serve as our food at a later date... Does that mean we are all heatherns, pagans, and immoral sinners as well, since we ate them and enjoyed the steaks we were served as a direct result of their deaths? And wouldn't we all be sinners in knowing that for us to grow, the cow/pig/etc had to die?

Sparrows? They've gotta be okay, I think...

Actually, Scripture says that God knows when a sparrow falls. If sparrows are fallen creatures, they must then be inherently sinful from the egg.

Now that I think about it, where do sparrows fall from...the heavens! What fell from Heaven? Satan and his rebellious angels. Therefore, sparrows must actually be evil, and anyone who feeds them is giving aid and comfort to our enemy in spiritual warfare.

(Hey, this is kinda fun! I guess that's why so many people do it! , and at the same time )

I am truly impressed with this post! Wow!

Arrrgggghhh!! I knew I was doing something wrong! Pray for me then, because I am sinning - I feed the sparrows.

I'm speechless! We shoot sparrows here.

Kath,
Shame, shame on you! Maybe you better rethink your position... shooting sparrows is murder! Didn't you read and learn anything at all during your time here on this thread? At any rate, I can't think of ways to feed the other wild birds while successfully excluding the poor sparrows... and those little house sparrows are just oh so cute - they force me to feed them!

Just put a McDonald's french fry on the ground, that will take care of the sparrows. What about pigeons, not the pleasant morning dove kind, the gray city kind. Do you feed them, too.?> And Squirrels! They never share! EEEK, all of nature is sinning (running around with hands on her head) AAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGJjjjjhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Where I live, there are no pigeons or squirrels that I'm aware of... and McDonald's french fries? I'm supposed to share them?

Since I have no money to spare currently, would you let me come landscape your yard instead? I dug up a lot of nice plants today, along with loading up on some nice native rocks.
