My boyfriend has a pair of plastic slip on sandals that he loves, but they really stink. How can he get rid of the bad odor?

is it the plastic that smells or after he wears them that his feet smell?

usually, it's the insulated feet that stink and the shoe just acts as the insulator

otherwise - kill the funk with bleach if they're plastic - that oughta do it [;)]

Put them in the laundry. I do it with all of our flip flops. Wash them and then let them air dry.

I didn't know that they could go in the laundry. They are Speedo sandals and I guess that you would call them plastic,right?

I put all the flip flops in the laundry, no matter what they're made of. No leather, but anything else should be fine.

I have never thought about putting my flip flops in with the laundry. Good idea! I do put my house slippers in and they come out very clean and new looking. [:D]

After this thread...I put my tevas in the laundry this weekend.

They came out smelling fresh as daisies[sm=flower.gif]
