Sony, tell her to be good also. [:D]

I will add that, although that may be more of a challenge than she's up for. [:D]

AngelInWaiting1983 -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 3:11:45 PM)

So I decided against the nap.

armydude -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 3:13:18 PM)

Actually it's not Bethany. If you get to know my other sisters, you'll find that it could apply to any of them. [:D]

I hope y'all have fun. I'm gonna get offline and see what my oldest wants. I think he wants the computer.

AngelInWaiting1983 -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 3:54:03 PM)

Everybody must be napping. I guess I should start getting ready to go to the concert tonight. Catch y'all later!

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 5:03:47 PM)

Well I did not get my nap in. Watched Braves beat Dodgers 6-1. And had problems with this #2 computer. Working for the moment.

And Cubs are leading 13-4 going into the 8th inning.

That should put the Braves at 500.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 5:17:56 PM)

They are playing good right now. Hope Chipper will not be out long.

robertyork -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 5:21:55 PM)

A possiblilty came up this weekend.....I may be able to have the Booth Brothers at a concert next year.....Pray that things will work out.....will have to wait and see if they work out.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 5:27:14 PM)

Sounds good Bobby. Hope it works out for you.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 5:29:02 PM)

Chipper Jones is still playing?! Some things never change. I assume he looks like the kid he always has.

Randy Johnson is still playing and he is in his 40's

SGEnthusiast -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 5:57:15 PM)

Wow! I don't think 40 is old; it's just amazing to me when I think about the people I was watching play 10 and 20 years ago and who are still doing so. I think it's neat though. I have seen Randy Johnson too but it's been a while. Any more, I usually just see whoever's in the World Series (and maybe some of the Playoffs). [:D] I do think I'm stuck in the past, though. I have a hard time remembering who all the current players are.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 6:00:11 PM)

I think Chipper will be 36 years old in a few days.

SGEnthusiast -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 6:02:34 PM)

It's funny that what seems old for me seems so young for others. I would have thought Chipper was older than that but I generally think people are older than me.

utilityfielder -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 6:02:40 PM)

In the sports world 40 is old. Most baseball players retire in their 30's. They are not as fast or as strong as they used to be.

And Johnson is actually 45. Pitchers can last the longest, although Ricky Henderson played into his mid 40's.

SGEnthusiast -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 6:04:21 PM)

Players retiring early is the primary reason I'm surprised when I still see certain ones in games. I don't always know their ages but it just seems like some of them have been around forever.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 6:06:05 PM)

Some have been around too long.

utilityfielder -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/20/2008 6:11:11 PM)

Certain players really take care of themselves and can play longer.

Hey Lynn!

Are you liking the new house?

Yep...still trying to fine tune things...
Why is it when you move you either have too much or not enough furniture??? Why is it when you move the curtains that were perfect in the last place don't work in the new one and you have to go out and buy both new curtains/valances and curtain rods??? Why is it when you move there is that one box you can never find and it has all or at least most of the decorating things you want???

Is this kind of like how the dryer always eats ONE sock??? [:D]
