WHERE MY BARLOWPEEPS AT???

This is for my fellow BarlowGirl fans and others...So the Girls have now gone winless at the Doves two previous years (9 nods). Sure, I should be worrying about other things in life..,but I WANT THEM TO WIN!! Can't the GMA peeps see how different, fresh and LIFE-CHANGING their music is??

I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for their music. Honest. I thought about ending it all. And then the Barlows, already my fave band since '06, somehow became a central musical figure in my life. The way I approach life...music, God, everything...has changed after seeing Alyssa, Lauren and Becca play and meeting them in Jacksonville and Miami.

I'VE BEEN TRANSFORMED! Thanks, Ladies!

Can they win at the Doves???...your thoughts, please.

I think it would be great if BarlowGirl won a Dove award! And I certainly think they can win! :)

However, I also think it is important to realize that their success is not measured by winning an industry award. Becca, Alyssa, and Lauren are so focused on doing what God has called them to, and I think they're doing a wonderful job of following that call! So... while it would be awesome if the girls won a Dove, let's try to remember to keep this all in perspective of what it really is. :)

I'm truly beliveing that these awesome young women will win.
Hopefully the win all of them but I really want them to win the Rock song of the year, Million voices!!!!

My God's Enough (Lordy, what a cool name...I wonder where ya got it? KIDDING! I LOVE THAT SONG!), it is VERY HARD for me to keep things in perspective...I keep thinking the Barlows will "look bad" or embarassing if they don't win! But I am new at this Christian music thing...me and the Barlows "go back" only two years anyway. I may be spoiled by previous fave Christina Aguilera winning all those Grammys!

I don't think it will look bad or embarrassing if they don't win. I think it's a huge honor for them to just be nominated!

I know that it can be hard to not get wrapped up in it all this, but honestly, I think all of the lives that BarlowGirl's music has touched and helped is much more significant than a Dove Award. Also, the girls always glorify God through their music, and I think that is much more awesome than any award they could ever win.

I't would be sweet if they won this year! But it is also such an honor just to be nominted...just being in the same catagories as Switchfoot and tobyMac would be good enough for me!

Hey, guys...Ramon again...I may not be spamming, but somehow I habe a feeling I must defend myself a bit. At the end of the day, I just want you guys to remember these posts, to be perhaps inspired to try something new when it comes to music, whether it's BarlowGirl or not!

(That's "Have" not "habe" by the way)

I'm just trying to make you guys think, maybe indirectly. And who knows, maybe God and the GMA want the Barls to make history by NOT winning a Dove (most-nommed act never to win?). It's His will in the end. Like Britney sang once, "someday I'll understand."

This is how I'm trying to "start the riot"...just not violently or offensively.
