Ever since sometime in February I have been suffering from bad depression/anxiety. The anxiety keeps me inside most of the time because I'm not able to leave, I was just wondering if I could get some prayer from the people on here to help me overcome this, because I really need some help. I probably should have consulted God when this happened, but like a fool I didn't and now it's getting out of control, someone please help me! :(

Father,

I pray for Jordan and his depression. Father let him know that we are never alone, that you walk with us all the time, even in the darkest of valleys. In Jesus name Amen

Jordan, just a question, are you involved in a church. I have dealt with sever depression and two things always brought me back. be involved in church and do/pray for others.

Thanks so much for the prayer. At the moment I'm not currently involved in a Church no. Possibly soon though hopefully. I strayed away from God some months ago, so now I'm looking to get back on the right path.

Fires get built by alot of coals together. Find a church. You will be amazed. I am in a situation where I have been threatened with death, the only thing holding me together is my wife, and the elders of my church who are just INCREDIBLE in their holy love and support.

When I battled depression I would say that over and over and over; again and again and again.

I would search out the WORD and I would pray, pray pray and pray again and again and over and over and over

I would go up for prayer about the depression

It was not easy nor was it fun. It was a lot of hard work.

I am praying for you..What you need to do is find a pastor and ask him to help you find a christian counselor.. That is what I did and I have already started my counseling and it has gone good already...I just like that I have someone to vent to and talk to..
But definitely, find a counselor in your area and just google christian counselors, you will find
someone, remember you are not alone and we are your family also. We love you and are
here for you. I am praying for you that God gives you peace and comfort..He is right there
with you!!

Thanks everyone for all the prayer's and support. Today has been a pretty good day so far, so for right now things are going alright. Thanks again.

Praying for healing from this anxiety and depresssion.

If you find it hard to leave the house, maybe it might help if you take baby steps. Step outside and take a deep breath. Listen to the birds, the breeze, and anything else you can hear. Look at the flowers and trees and the grass. Take time-out and see just the little things that God has created. You will find that this will help you relax. Seek to be one with Him.

May the Lord pour upon you His peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus name amen

Your right, thanks for the advice! I go outside all the time, because I smoke, and I have to smoke outside the gate, so this will be a good thing for me to do, thank you!
