I play the Piano and I also am a young Southern Gospel Musician. I began getting devoted to music when I got saved and God has been blessing me even more I have began working on putting a group together that will perform in our community trying to show that Christians are just like every one else.

Sounds cool, music is a great outreach tool! But really, are Christians just like everyone else?

That question has two sides to it. No Christians are not like every one else they have accepted Christ. But when I go out in the community I have noticed that some times when you tell people that you are a Christian they kind of freak out. So we want to show them that we are just like them but we have accepted Christ.

I see what you're saying. at the end of the day we are all human. BUT the difference is we have knowledge of or flesh, and have power to ultimately overcome it and be righteous through Jesus Christ.
Some people don't understand that because well, look at our history, the "Christians" have really destroyed the reputation of the church big time.

Okay, I get where you're coming from. Some people do tend to think the worst when they hear the word "Christian", so what you are doing is admirable!

You want to show them that you're real, but also that God changed your life and you need to be good example.

For me i play the piano sometimes but i don't like exactly play u know for service at church? But I am the Worship Leader of the singing service of our church =) how about u? so u sing like in a choir r, are u just a Musician?

78.5% of people in America claim Christianity as their religion.
33.6% of the world population claim Christianity as their religion.
Not to be rude, but the 'everyone else' you mention are already Christians.

LOL, well....yep, it's awesome. For what I'll write, it'll probably be a simple melody line fo rthe most part, so you shouldn't have trouble readin it. Of course, if you did, I could give you some sites to help you learn.

that's really nice but i also i have to learn chords to. i play piano sometimes but not at service u know? but still i have a song i made by myself but i dont think i have put words to it i may have but forget the words i dont think i wrote it down... but i did make this song maybe last year or so.. on piano but i need to get the sound back in my head well the keys.... i'm a play by ear piano player.

It's not hard to be led astray by secularism.
One of my friends almost ended up going to a party with someone he was heavily witnessing to. Instead he got pulled into the world when he was trying to help someone change. I also got invited to the same party.
