zman, don't worry, I didn't think that you were insensitive. I have been on these forums lond enough to know how posts run, especially since I am so slow getting a post up that I have had posts that where way out of place by he time I had gotten them up.
Surgery: They are taking out some nodules that are on my thyroid. They are going to see if they are cancerous while I am still on the table. If they are cancerous, then they will take out my thyroid. They are very likely cancerous since they have already had tests that came back as suspicious. The good news is that if I have cancer, this surgery will fix it and I don't have to do any kind of treatment.
Shar-Mar, With the way things have been going, I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow I got phone calls from rebekah asking for a band-aid... from Sarah, complaining that Rebekah isn't cleaning their room... from Timothy crying of unfair treatment, from Caleb for being frustrated at having to actually work at something, from David telling how Timothy or Caleb won't play by the rules of some Calvin Ball game that he made up.... and then it will start all over again with a fresh list of complaints. I love my kids, but I have been so frustrated today with no time to devote my attention to just them and I was being stretched in 15 different directions today.

Ellie-Mae you will be in my prayers tomorrow also. My neice had the same surgery several years ago, it was cancerous, she has done wonderfully since then.

Today I spent most of the day attacking a great stack of accumulated paperwork. It will be more of the same for the next couple of weeks until I dig my way out.
Yesterday I managed to get someone out of jail who had not paid any child support since 2004. Just doing my part to make the justice system great.

How could they pay child support while in jail. Isn't that like the old debtors prison?
The person should be required to pay, but they have to have a job first.
