stateofgrace -> Comfort Sandals (4/25/2008 11:35:39 AM)

Maybe it's just a sign of old age, but I have discovered comfort sandals and it's likely going to be difficult to get me to wear anything else this spring and summer. I am having difficulty with my left foot (the podiatrist appointment is still three weeks away!) and generally have to wear a bunion spacer between the big toe and the next toe, which I don't need with these sandals. These shoes also help with lower body problems (knee, hip and back aches) and with arch issues. And...many styles of comfort sandals are designed similar to walking/running/athletic shoes, so you can walk in them, comfortably, for long periods. Has anyone else tried them? What did you think? I have two pair now -a pair of brown leather slides by Teva (found at Marshalls for like $20) and a pair of SoftShoes (imported from Europe) black suede sandals with adjustable front and back straps (found at Rack Room Shoes for $40).
