I may be changing my mind soon. I won a free sample of >Soap Nuts< in a contest, and just tried them out today. They seem to have worked really well- I'm impressed. Clothes smell nice and clean (but not like any fragrance), and it seems to have washed them just as well as Tide.
PS- if anyone else is interested in trying them, you can get a sample for .99 right now.

I'm kinda the same way, though I don't have coupons. I'm not picky.
I do prefer liquid detergent over powder. Back in my college days, I remember that the powder didn't always dissolve completely, so my clothes came out of the washer w/ detergent chunks all over 'em. (That might be b/c the poor college student tried to cram too much in one load.)
