Is cutting down on caffeine consumption a good idea ... on a Monday?

It's been my experience that NO day is a GOOD day for this.

I really liked my MIL's blog this week so I thought I would share it with ya'll.
You have to imagine a strong Italian Accent. We don't edit wording for her, just spelling because we want her personality to come through.
She calls her blog, her blob. Too funny.

Momma's Blog

Oh yes, Nadine, thank you so much for sharing that!

It has occurred to me that there are a bunch of caffeine addicts here ... that would explain why I go away for a couple hours and there are 300 posts to catch up on.

It was a good time to change my signature.

I love it! Bring on the caffeine!

(okay, I have to stick to the one cup in the morning ... but I can assure you it is one very good cup!)

How are you doing tonight Gary?

Hi Sam, I am doing well. Work was another busy day at work. It is very hectic there now.

I am looking forward to an early weekend this week. I am taking Thursday and Friday off and taking a trip.

I am going to Wichita, where I grew up. I will see my sister and go to the annual River Festival. One of the events is an open house at the Botanica Gardens. I love taking pictures there this time of year, the light is so bright and clean. They have a photo contest every year and I enter that. My photo of an iris last year won the best iris photo and I got $50 out of it.

When I get a new camera, I think that I will be taking pictures more.

Excuse me ... did you say IRIS? That is my all-time favorite flower. The blue variety to be very specific.

Do you have a link to show it off?

Hi everyone!

Go for it Mike. With a digital camera you are only limited by the number of memory cards you have.

But is the quality as good as film though?

Yes, Even a point and shoot camera in the 8 megapixel and above range will give pictures comparable with 100ASA film. Of course it has to have a good lens, but you can get 8 x 10 prints out of it.

Something's wrong ... it was fairly warm yesterday. Okay, bordering on hot.

This morning we left the house and it felt ... chilly. I almost went back in to grab a sweater. Then I realized that would not be a rational thing to do. It will warm up. After all ... this is the desert.

I checked the temperature when I got to work an hour and a half ago. And I was just back on that website, and it's now TWO DEGREES COOLER.

So speaking of digital cameras...how big is the quality between say, a 5megapixel and an 8 megapixel?

My previous camera (now resting in pieces) was like 1.something. the pictures were pretty decent (nothing professional mind you).

I'm looking to get a new one but wanted to implore your input.

Tina, THIS THREAD may help you.

I bought a Canon Powershot A720.

As far as you questions, I'm not going to be any help because, well, I just don't know the terminology.

I am LOVING it. What a rare treat for the middle of May. Many times our hundred count has started by now.
