I always walk away from a situation like that imagining them sharing their stories of all the weirdos they waited on that day in the back room. At least I give them something to talk about.
My mission in life is to give people giggles and grins.

I don't know if its my mission or not....but i'm really good at it...at my expense anyway.

Okay....so to keep with the topic of the thread...I am going to try to throw out at least one thought I'm thunkin on every so often for us to chew on (or not,if it's not "thought worthy" to you at the moment.)
I figure with this many great minds in here....there is plenty of thinkin going on.
You can share or not.... To me just the willy nilly chatter is fun.

Before I share my "thot" for the day, I don't know who it was that posted the recipe in the flirt thread of all places with ice cream, cherries and chocolate shell etc... but it was awesome. Very close to Cherry Garcia...which was my favorite before I learned of their political leanings and well lets just say they leaned so far...they fell out. Sooo. now I can make my own.

Okay....I kinda had an idea of what I wanted to share. This thread has been along time comeing due to unforseen stupidity on my part, so I have had lots of time to "Think" as it were. However....

I'm sitting here drinking my coffee(thanks FB) and my silly little Bijon Maltese who is adorable and sweet, but really not very intelligent, starts digging at a 5 gallon water bottle. I get a water service, and I have 5 sitting against the wall( I live in AZ we go through alot of water) So any way he is just scratching and digging away at the bottle. I am assuming he knows its full of water, and he is thirsty. Funny thing is his water bowl is right next to the bottles. Filled to the top with fresh water.

I was watching him, and I started to get that feeling like God was trying to show me something here. For me he always uses animals and children to show me things. I'm simple at heart. The 5 gallon water bottle is the future....each and every day after today. His will that I am always trying to get him to reveal. I always want to see where he is going with some thing and I am rarely content with just today. And right there in front of me is that small portion...today.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:33-34

Being a widow....and having your whole life turned upside down. You kinda want to know why. Why did you allow these things to happen. I am like my little dog Shiloh, digging and trying to find out those answers now. When He just wants me to trust Him with today.

Blessings!

Come on in and help yourself to some biscotti.

Don't worry about the crumbs. Gibbie and Shiloh will get them.

Hello! I *think* I'm a little slow on the uptake, I just found you!

And, interestingly enough, I did follow the biscotti crumbs to get here.

Welcome!!!!!

Feel free to share any random thought that pops into your head.

I'm starting to get an idea what it must have been like sitting on Mars Hill. 100 random, meaningless, nonsensically conversations and 1 that changes the way the world thinks.

Fun and Cool.

LOL! Well, it was the comment about not taking business away from FB's (I couldn't think what FB's was) and then the biscotti in the hundred acre woods.

I had to think long and hard but the light finally came on!

I'm not usually so mysterious. that's funny though.
Well thinking long and hard fits right in here. I'm glad you found the place.

I won't be making any changes to the place. I'm just gonna leave the woods in their natural state, maybe add a few comfy thinking chairs. The chair and a half is my favorite. You can think alone or invite someone who doesn't mind being that close(no one comes to mind, but who knows)to sit with you.

Did someone say biscotti? Now we're talking!!! I looooooove biscotti.

I like "Trey" ... I know another guy who's a third and that's his nickname.

And speaking of Ed/Trey ... today the little yogurt shop has a delicious flavor: strawberry cheesecake. Isn't that the flavor of SaraLee ice cream you have? Hopefully they will have some graham cracker crumbs for a topping, and I can pretend it's the real thing. (Will I be fooled? No. But I can at least pretend.)

So, what's going on here in the hundred acre woods today? Some tree climbing? I'm a little on the short side, so I might need a little boost to get up to that first Y ... can someone help me out? I hear the view is amazing once you get up high!!

Thanks for coming Focusing!
The view is amazing. Absolutely inspiring. If you look very closely at the tallest trees they have little steps built onto them...When your ready to come down. Don't worry about climbing down, just ask the narrator to turn the book side ways.
