So true....There is a poem about that;

Something about not desiring spring, when you are in winter.......I am going to have to go look for that one. It's an awesome poem.

Good Morning All!!!!

Happy Sunday!!!!!

I still have not found the poem I referred to above, but I had some very enjoyable reading looking for it.

I thought it was Edgar Guest but I have pretty much read everything I have of his and did not come across it. I will keep looking though.

Good afternoon, Nadine!!

I came here for a coool spot under a tree. It hear that the 100 acre wood is cooler than TX, so I thought I'd relax a little before getting back to work.

How is the book club going?

Speaking of books...

My mother recently loaned me an audio book to listen to. I resisted listening to it because I am so busy, but I had a lot of laundry to do this weekend and thought I could listen to it while I folded clothes.

I HAVE to recommend this book, especially to Nadine and WRB and the others who have lost their husbands to death. It's sort of a biography by a woman who lost her husband. She has expressed sooooo many of my own thoughts and described the way I feel exactly the way I describe it myself. And it's kind of funny, too. The writer is a Christian, and her friends are Christian, and so scripture and spiritual principles are scattered throughout the book.

I haven't even finished it yet, but I'm still recommending it!

Always Green by Patti Hill

I'm sure it's not only on audio. Likely you'll be able to check out a copy to actually read from your local library.

Wow. I'm glad you were blessed by the book. I love books that do that.... just give that encouraging hopeful sense.

" It's like everything good collided today"

This is a quote from my 8 year old today after her sisters made her an awesome tent and she had her favorite dinner and dessert.

I have so much to learn from her.

Great Terri, thanks for asking......Just trying to make it thru a very hot summer and keep my kids busy enough that they don't drive me crazy.
I am starting to get thoughts of that Staples or Office max commercial where the Dad is dancing thru the aisles with "It's the most wonderful time of the year" playing in the back ground. When I homeschooled that commercial used to offend me, but now I have teenagers.

I hope that you are doing well and getting settled. What are your plans now that you are back?

~Blessings~

I'll have to share more of the wisdom of my 8 year old. She is constantly blowing me away with little comments no 8 yr old should understand.
She is way smarter than I was at that age.
