I really like "Defying Gravity" from Wicked

From older shows, I think "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from Jesus Christ Superstar really captures the dilema all of us are confronted with when we come face to face with Christ. Unfortunately, most directors play it as sexual. But if you can get beyond the visual presentation, the lyrics are truly profound (even though I don't think that Tim Rice intended them to be profound in that way). In reality, most if not all of us really don't know how to love Jesus in the way He loves us.

"I, Don Quixote" from Man of LaMancha is really good.

So is "When the Idle Poor" from Finian's Rainbow.

But probably my fave is "When Your'e a Jet" from West Side Story.

I am a HUGE broadway fan. I love a LOT of musicals.

Right now the song is "Louder Then Words" from Tick Tick Boom.

But my fav musical is Jesus Christ Superstar. My school just performed it this past weekend and I sat there crying the entire time.

Well it is maybe "over popular" but "The Music Of The Night" from Phantom is my "favorite"....but "Oklahoma" is fun.

Yes, a good one. Everytime I hear the name Robert Goulet I think of this song.
