tracydolls -> Prayer against racism (4/30/2008 4:40:00 AM)

Father,

In the matchless name of Jesus,

I ask You for Your Mercy on all of us that have held racist thoughts, did racists deeds, said racist words, come from racist families.

Lord I pray for the slave and the slave master, I ask that you forgive both.

I ask that you forgive myself, myfamily, and any one I have spread racism too. I ask that you heal us, cleanse us from this. All of us.

Lord I thank you for your Grace. Your Love.

I ask that You put love in all our hearts.

I humble myself before You, I repent of my racism and lay it at Your feet.

Amen

Father, thank You,for madeing us all different. Help us to see each other as You see us. Your beautful children. Each one unique and precious in Your eyes, as we should be precious in each other's eyes. Father bind the fear and hate, and replace it with something good. With Your love. In Jesus precious name. Amen

Father,

Thank you for creating as you have. Help us all to enjoy the diversity of your creation. Help us to be reconciled to you and to each other so that we will love you with our whole being and love others as we love ourselves. In Jesus Christ's name we praise you and pray for true reconciliation. Amen.

Father, asking for healing from all the hurt caused by raceism. Wipe away all fear and hate, even that, that we may not know we have. And Father, that all hate for any reason because of differances in people would be wiped away. In Jesus name we ask. Amen

tracydolls, I just want to say I am sorry for all the harm that was done to your race by some of my race.
I reminber as a little girl, sitting on swingset and thinking about racism, having learned that some people hated others just because of the color of they're skin. It just didn't make since to me. So in my child's mind I figured out something to end it. It was that if everyone would marry black to white, soon everyone would be the same color and there would be no more hate. That was before I got old enough to understand that if people want to hate, they will always find something different about each other to hate. Why is man's heart so evil? Thank God, that HIS heat is pure.
