Glad Isaac is doing so well.

Kinda bummed that this doesn't change my spot in line.

All I can say is, what a shock!! It really can happen that fast, can't it?

It can indeed.

ALL THE MORE REASON to have your hospital bag packed early!

It used to be "Pack your bag by 28 weeks at the latest!" <coughcoughcoughFlintejaecoughcoughcough>, now it's
<coughcoughcoughFlintejae&Erincoughcoughcough>

True, although can I take a more relaxed approach about it since we are delivering at home? No probably not. Hubby still wants to have a small bag packed in case we do have to transfer. And if I go into labor before my 36th week, she won't deliver at home. So I guess I do need to have something!

I'm 31 weeks and haven't even started, or even made a list.
But I must say, Erin has just encouraged me!!!

Purejoy, it is a good motivator, eh? I will pack my bags in the morning (can't believe I haven't done it yet! )

Dave is dropping me at my parent's house for the weekend (they live 4.5 hrs away), and my mom is throwing me a shower on Sun. Now I am pretty nervous about being away for a long weekend at this point in my pregnancy.... hopefully it will be an uneventful weekend.

I'd honestly say 28 weeks.

Mine was packed at 24, lol. I was too afraid of not being prepared and it made me feel better to have it done.

I think I'm still in denial. Even with Erin already having her baby...I'm still in denial. I need to do it anyway, even if it seems ridiculous. (Notice the word seems ridiculous. )
I am going to start making a list tonight at least. Really....

I pack my bag (mostly) around 30 weeks, give or take, and depending on how much of my clothing I have grown out of. I leave a few things for last minutes (like last time, I was worried that with Anna's issues she might need the NICU or something, so I slept with a tiny lovey in my shirt every night and packed it in the bag every morning so if we had to be separated, she would at least have something that smelled like me.)

My back is already bothering me- that does not encourage me... I'm hoping that it is just a bad week, and not a sign of 25 weeks of worsening back issues! Maybe if I start my pelvic tilts...

Chelsea- I have been waiting so long to not be last! We did have one person for a few days, but things did not go well for her Of course, maybe Jeanie is due in February and we won't find out until after the baby comes

Hi ladies...I thought about packing a bag over the weekend but hey....why do that...I had 12 weeks left....

As far as delivering at home...we almost did...I was 100% complete when we got to the hospital.

Well, I printed one off the internet...does that count?

But then when I actually looked at it, I realized it's kind of a dumb one anyway. Especially after hearing about Erin & Klay, dh was thinking I should probably get on that pretty soon. I'm off today- it's on my list. I'm going to try really really hard, ok?

My bag?.... another story.....

But on our list of things to do....

Really? Almost everyone I know had to read it in high school. My sister decided to highlight all her favorite lines in my copy, so my book has more yellow than white on it

I'm going to register tomorrow with my mom. I'm pretty excited about that. Gabe and I went to Babies R Us yesterday so I could get his opinion on big items like the pack n' play and a car seat before I pick one out for the registry. I'm still a long ways away from packing my bag, but I am trying to get lesson plans ready for my students a month before my actual due date, just in case I have to have a sub then (for delivery or bedrest or whatever). I'm not really sure what to leave for my Spanish class when the sub won't speak Spanish, though It's going to be an interesting year...

LOL! Thanks everyone! There has been quite a bit of commotion since I announced it, I understand how you missed it!

I have been feeling much better the last few days! It would be easy to forget that I'm pregnant if I didn't think about it 24/7!

Chelle, it's a deal! You get your butt on the list and move me up a spot lady!
