Kathryn, I hope your day got better. Bad days rot. My BP was 140/85 at my appointment, and that was first thing in the morning, so I'm sure it only goes up from there. No protein in my urine though. I measured 41 weeks...baby had a major growth spurt. CNM said...high BP, huge baby (again), hubby who needs care arranged...perfect candidate for induction. Not to mention, my cervix is already low and 1.5 cm dilated, so that's favorable for induction too. I've got an ultrasound and another appointment scheduled for Tuesday and we'll decide then for sure. Could be as soon as next week! She actually offered me a c-section and hysterectomy right then if I want...but that didn't sit right with me, so I declined.

I'll try, Kara...but you have to do your part too. Time to go 4-wheeling in a bumpy field! I posted about Brian coming home in my PFY thread.

Have any of you ladies ever had a spot on your stomach that felt like it was bruised from the inside? I have one really tender spot and I'm wondering if its from Joshua pushing really hard against that spot at night. Thanks!

Yeah, I've got one spot that feels like a perpetually pulled muscle from where Caleb is pushing on it. One week to d-day ... hoping it's more like one DAY to d-day. Today was my original due date (until it was changed via ultrasound). I see my midwife in an hour, and we'll see what she says (she has already done a couple of stretch & sweeps to attempt to get things moving a little faster). I saw my chiropractor this morning, who did an adjustment which has been shown to send 60% of preggies into labour if babe is in a good position (which he is) So we're crossing our fingers (and uncrossing our legs so he can escape, LOL)

I've had the same spot with both Hannah and Jael. It's not so much from them pushing or kicking on that spot but rather just that the abdominal muscle there (just under my last left rib) is weaker there. Towards the middle/end of both pregnancies it would feel fatigued especially at the end of the day. Ouch!

Mine wasn't great- my test came back positive for Group B strep. It's not a huge deal- they administer antibiotics through an IV for 20 min. at the beginning of labor (then every 4-8 hrs)- just remember that you need to be taking probiotics too (acidophilus pills, sugar free yogurt, etc) because of the antibiotics being used in labor.....so that you don't get a yeast infection in the first few weeks post pardum....NOT a good time for that to have to be dealt with!!! YES YES YES!

My appointment was okay ... BP was 108/68 (highest it's been this pregnancy ... probably due to the stress of dh losing his job on Thursday). Caleb's HR was in the 150s. Midwife did another stretch and sweep ... I'm at 3cm and -1 station ... this babe is just being resistant to coming!!! If my water would just hurry up and break, we'd be set.
