I have a couple that I know who went to florida to see all this. I didnt really pay attention to it until another minister asked me about it, all I knew was the Bentley 'fall' that occured.
Now that I have had a chance to review the teachings of Todd I can see alot of truth and error mixed.
What appears to me is a whole generation of believers who have become inert in their christian walk. My observation is they are inert, they do not evangelise themselves, they do not train up or grow up other believers themselves and are simply bored. Therefore they enter into seeking more manifestations and power experiences. What has happened is a door has been opened to seeking and entertaining angels that have all the characteristics of being 'false' angels that start false movements like the Mormon church etc.
If you are still 'thirsty' for spiritual things outside of Christ, then you are not born of God.
He that cometh to me Jesus said with never thirst again.
I understand what it is to thrist after God Himself, but that thirst is not redirected to the seeking of angels, etc.

you do not know me or anything about me and I am sure for most Christians so for you to say that our hunger is for stuff is really a judgement statment against all people who believe in the prosperity message IMO....just for the record I do not want STUFF I want GOD and what HE has for me I really don't care what it is as long as it is from HIM and it defeats the enemy....

We're called to judge (test) all things in light of Scripture. So passing judgment is not always a bad thing, but again he was not directing his comments to you, so your offense is a little off.

Excellent article on the aftermath of the Lakeland fiasco.
It focuses less on Bentley and more on the false apostles/prophets and other Latter Rain cult members that promoted and supported Lakeland.

Purge?
Not "loving" at all. Jesus coming against the preachers of his day? Not loving at all. Jesus taking a whip to the church vendors? Not loving at all.
Or was it? When you love someone you tell them truth. When you love God's Word and His people you will abhor falsehoods and lies about Him and His Word. You will abhor those that purposely steal and rape the faith and money of those that need Him.

You're admonishing us.. are we not both doing the same exact thing? I am admonishing fellow believers and unbelievers about false teachers and false prophets.
So how is your tactic any different? That is the question.

I am just saying we as children of GOD need to remember to read 1 Cor 13 and 1 John on a daily basis...to remember to walk in love
also I do not feel that making harsh statments about a person no matter who it is ...is walking in love..this is not what HIS WORD teaches...
yes we are to TEST the spirits but not go on and on day after day discussing it all over and over again. Test the spirit if it is not of GOD then leave it alone....

I can speak for myself and say that I make harsh statements about a person's teachings, claims and practices in light of Scripture. That is what HIS WORD teaches to do and for you to do as well.

As long as there are false teachings and such out there taking root in our church circles.. I will continue to obey God's Word.

Say I can say that someone is wrong and do it in love.
But drop kick Todd. Did kick someone in the area of the stomach and tell them they are healed now. Kind a leads me to believe how can pain bring forth a healing feeling when probably the next day the old boy had one heck of a black and blue area.
