My two children and I are homeless. I am devastated as I had a job working at a motel in a new town and after two months was given one week notice to leave. Anyway, I am living in my 20 year old car and praying that God would work a miracle for me. I am trying to get a good job in Canada. I can not make it here. My ex husband was a gambler and he left our credit a mess. I have never been able to dig myself out. All the moving around has made it hard to have good references for jobs or a place to rent and so I have no choice but to leave the States. I just cant make it here. I have no family and no friends that have room for 3 people. My daughter's 17 birthday is in a few days and I have no money and no place to go. We live in a small town and I do not have the resources to move. I have no choices and no hope. my ex has remarried and moved on, has not seen the children in 9 years and refuses to see them or talk to them. Please pray for us as I am scared that the only thing I have left now, my health is going...I am in my mid 40's and have not been getting much sleep in this car with the children we are tired and at our rope's end. Your prayers are appreciated... thank you

Lord, what a difficult situation when we look at these circumstances through our limited vision. I ask you Lord to restore the years the locust have eaten. Your child, is crying out for mercy, and grace in a desperate situation. Lord give them a home, and resources to change thier lives. Help them have a good job, a good life, a good home so my sister can tell others " See what my God has done for me." Lord help soon please, this very moment.

Oh my goodness, I read this and my heart is just broken for you...Is there no kind of shelter or womens shelter to go to where you are? I am so so sorry that you are having to live in your car with your children. Please try to rest and get some sleep tonight, know that we are praying for you..I wish I could help you, I would! I know that there are a lot of places here in the states, where apartment locators help people find a place even with bankruptcies,foreclosures, bad credit or even criminal records..I wish there was someway for you to move here...

Oh Lord, I know what prvbs31girl is going through, I beg of you please Lord, hear our prayers for her. Please Please protect her and her children, keep them safe and give them all comfort.

Father, please accept these as my prayers too for prvbs31girl, and her children. Father, open a doorway for for someone to offer for them to move in with them till she can get on her feet. Lord, I am still praying the above prayer for prvbs31girl. My heart is so sad for her and her children and I am worried for her, Lord please please protect her and keep her safe. Please get
her out of this situation and give her many blessings, please allow someone to have a soft
and loving heart to take her and her children in to help her...Lord please hear our prayers....

Proverbs 31 girl

Go to a pastor and ask for a referral to agencies that work with the homeless.

One thing you might do to get a little money is detail cars (cleaning). Offer to pick up trash at businesses and Truck stops. Offer to clean windows at churches.

Don't give up on God.

Oh Proverbs girl my heart goes out to you.

Father God we lift of PG to you. Open her ears to hear you whispering of where to go, what to do. Open the heart of people to help her, remind all that when they help the poor in spirit or in wealth, they are helping you.

There has been some good advice. Get to a shelter now. They are everywhere. Decide to do it now. Decide to look for help at churches, agencies, anything.

This is weighing so heavy on me, I continue to read the prayers and think about you. I read it a little while ago and just cried, I pray that you are doing ok and I continue to ask that the good Lord continue to protect you and keep you safe. I pray for an awesome blessing that God bless you with a job,money, a home,food, everything. I know this is only temporary and God has perfect timing in everything he does and has reasons for everything he does, I know he has a really great plan for you and your children. Please continue to trust in him and have faith in him and know that he is there and that he loves you so much....I hear this saying alot, "Let nothing steal your joy"....Repeat that everyday and let nothing distract you, just lean on the Lord and let him guide you to whatever he wants you to do.

I am praying for you and your children. Please let us know how you are doing....
