Hi all,

My son is 31 on Mother's Day. We suspect he has Lupus. It's not a good thing to have to deal with. He is single. If you have Lupus and have to deal with it, and would like to, I would ask for your prayers for him. His name is Frank. He's lost 55 pounds from the nausea/vomiting that happens. He has the butterfly rash, and lots of other symptoms. He is currently going to specialists and I am not aware of what tests have been done to prove the condition.

Thank you. This is really hard on him, and me, too. He is not working, and can't. I support him, and will always do so. The Lupus is interfering with his life, completely, and he is down about that, too.

Father, I lift up ladyamythist's son to You. Father, help them to find out for sure what is wrong and be able to treat it. Of course Father, I ask for Your healing for him also Lord. Give him encouragement. Renew his faith as well as his strength. Help him to be all that You would have him to be. Be with ladyamythist too, as she stands by her son, and help her Father. May Your will be done in all of this. In Jesus name I ask. Amen

Aww, sweetie, I am so sorry that your son is dealing with this. I had gone to an allergist at one time because I didn't know if i had Lupus. My 3 1st cousins all have Lupus. I will keep you and your son in my prayers. Lord, I pray for you to heal ladyamythist's son completely from this disease that keeps him from living a normal life and from working. Please Lord, heal him..
Give him peace and comfort and let him know that you are there and in control and that you love him with all your heart.

My mother has had Lupus for over 20 yrs now. Her doctors have gotten her for the most part under control as best as they can. It started with the butterfly rash. The best thing I can tell you that might help his spirits other than him reading these chats is to get involved in a Lupus support group in your area. If you have problems finding one I might be able to track one down for you.

I pray for those with lupus everyday it is something difficult to diagnose since it mimmicks so many other conditions. But I pray for comfort, understanding of the condition and peace of mind for all affected including friends and family. If you need to talk feel free to PM me.
