The other day Santa stopped by the animal shelter. He saw two beautiful dogs and thought he would take them home to Nancy. On the way home he was thinging up the names for the dogs. He named the black one Rolex and the white one Timex. When he got home he carried the dogs in and gave them to Nancy telling her that their names were Roles and Timex. Nancy said why Santa that are watch names. Santa said I know, that the reason for the names they are WATCH DOGS. That's what the man at the shelter said they were.

Bobby Boudreaux left the bayou and moved to Arkansas where he bought him a donkey from an old farmer for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day. The next day, the farmer drove up and said 'I'm sorry, but I have some bad news. The donkey died last night.' 'Well, den' said Bobby Boudreaux, ' jus' give my money back, yeah. ' 'I can't do that Sir, I went and spent it already. ''OK, den. Jus' unload dat donkey.' 'What are you gonna do with him' 'I'm gon-to raffle him off.' 'You can't raffle a dead donkey, you dumb Cajun!' 'Well dats where you wrong!! You wait you an' you learn how smart we Cajuns are!' A month later the farmer ran into Bobby and asked, 'What happened with that dead donkey?'' "I raffled dat donkey off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars apiece and made $998." 'Didn't anyone complain?'' "Just dat guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back."

Daniel came home with a new Chevrolet Avalanche and his parents began to yell and scream , 'Where did you get that truck???!!!' He calmly told them , 'I bought it today.' 'With what money?' demanded his parents. They knew what a Chevrolet Avalanche cost. 'Well , ' said Daniel , 'this one cost me just fifteen dollars.' 'Who would sell a truck like that for fifteen dollars?' they said. 'It was the lady up the street , ' said Daniel. I don't know her name - they just moved in. She saw me ride past on my bike and asked me if I wanted to buy a Chevrolet Avalanche for fifteen dollars.' 'Oh my Goodness! , ' moaned the mother , 'she must be a child abuser. Who knows what she will do next? John , you go right up there and see what's going on.' So the boy's father walked up the street to the house where the lady lived and found her out in the yard calmly planting petunias! He introduced himself as the father of the boy to whom she had sold a new Chevrolet Avalanche for fifteen dollars and demanded to know why she did it. 'Well , ' she said , 'this morning I got a phone call from my husband. I thought he was on a business trip , but learned from a friend he had run off to Hawaii with his mistress and really doesn't intend to come back. He claimed he was stranded and needed cash , and asked me to sell his new Chevrolet Avalanche and send him the money. So I did.'

REMEMBERING MOMS: Mother's Advice The new bride went crying to her mother. "Momma, I can't get my husband to do anything. I want him to fix up the house, and he keeps putting it off." "Honey," her mother replied, "after being married to your father for twenty-six years, I've found the only way to get him to do anything is to tell him he's too old."

ORIGINAL: Smokymtnsanta Chevy truck. Oh, interesting! Actually, I'm not sure I'd take a truck. I don't like maneuvering something as big as the car I have. Both for that reason and for gas mileage, I'm hoping my next vehicle is an itty bitty thing. (But I hope it's still big enough for me to fit!)
