Hey Donna!

Isn't it great that everything's back to normal again?

I for one am glad to see Sam back. There'll be someone else here now to take part of the slack that I've been taking from a certain few these past few days.
Oh PuhLeeze! Ya want some cheese to go with that wine there, Bobby?

I should have left you up side down.
Your day is coming, Mr. York. Just remember that.

Muhahahahahahahahaha

Oh the delicious contemplation of it all.

Hey James and Donna...want another cup of coffee while we watch????
Got a fresh pot brewed...this may be awhile....

Howdy! I'm checking in to see how my buddies are doing...

I've been up since 4AM, so coffee may be a good idea.

Who you talking to? Something that nice, surely you weren't talking to me.

Are you listening. I was talking to you and some others and I won't name them.

It wasn't my idea to post his pictures all over the place. Sharon Marie Yes, I came up with posting hers. I even saw Sam's picture posted on the walls of the Post Office and Police Station.

Morning all!

Good to see people back to their own avatars. I guess I need to switch mine out.

Sam glad you are home!

With all the confusion and avatars, Sam doesn't know for sure who he is, where he is, or what he is doing. Being gone for a week he'll never ketchup up with what he's done. where he's been or how he got there.

We had 2 oil lamps and flashlights. But went to bed a little after eleven. Woke up this morning and still no power so just turned over and went back to sleep.
#2 computer battery was real low so could not use it this morning. #1 computer battery had died a few weeks ago and have not replaced it as yet.

Why didn't you plug it in and charge it?

Bobby, does that really need an answer.

Trying to catch up on all the palavering that went on for the past 14 hours. That sure was a quick storm last night to do so much power line damage. They had to call in the tree surgeons to remove trees so the power company could come back at day break and repair lines.
Power company people are good men. Don't think I have seen a lady work on power lines in this area. But if so they are good women. Did not want to be fussed at.

Hope everyone is all right from the storms yesterday. We did not have anything except light rain. We have a chance for strong storms tonite, and I am hoping it does not happen for a lot of reasons. We need to get the rest of the corn crop in the ground. There are already likely to be yield consequences due to late planting date. I now have corn coming up and seed corn still in the bag, which is somewhat unusual.
I took Mrs. BB to Logan's Roadhouse (her choice) last night in honor of Mother's Day. We also have something for my Dear Mother that we will give her tomorrow. Tomorrow evening we plan to go see Karen Peck and New River, at W. Frankfort, IL. I was having trouble confirming the date and location in this area, so I left Ricky G. a phone message and he called me back yesterday morning and gave us confirmation. They are such nice folks, and we also love their music, and are looking forward to seeing and visiting with them again.

Sam: Did you catch any "one-armed bandits" while you were in Sin City?
quote:

Sometime misfortune turns out well. I was busy most days while in Vegas and only had time to log in at night from the hotel. They chaged $15 per day to use their internet service. Although I missed you guys I was not going to pay as much in two days as it cost me a month at home. So.........................I just didn't. I did however read all the posts this morning and I know what went on while I was gone. May I add it may not be safe for y'all to travel through Alabama in the near future. I have ticket book and pen inhand.

Thanks for the warm welcome back. It is good to be home.

I will do it. Last spring I said something about you to Ricky and he said "Tim is a good old boy". (I think I told you that at the time.)
