Made it back from dentist. He didn't pull the tooth, just did a filling to the one next to it. Told him I had never had a problem with the tooth he wanted to pull and I saw no need to pull it until I had problems with it. He just said fine.

Good Morning Sam....Have you got over the jet lag yet. Haven't heard much from you since you returned....I saw several people wanting their present from you, I'm sure you brought them one. A wooden nickle is all some of them (NO NAMES) deserves.

I'm afraid that will be happening everywhere, they will want to charge extra for anything they can. That way they will be able to keep their $1 menu. Napkins - 5 cents each Straws - 5 cents each salt - 2 cents a pack pepper - 2 cents a pack Cups for drinks - 15 cents bag for to-go items - 5 cents mustard or catsup - 10 cents a pack spoon/fork/knife - 10 cents each

Almost 3 hours of sleep last night. I have no clue why I'm having trouble staying awake.

Sam Just looked at your Vegas photos. The place don't look like the same one we went to about 20 years ago. MGM was the only one I remember and that wasn't the same MGM I remember. I remember the one across from Cesars Palace (which probably isn't there now).

I agree with you too, SharMar. I love Mondays! I loved them slightly less when I worked full time though, but still loved them.

It is now across from New York New York. I can't remember what is across from Cesars Palace now but I have it somewhere.

I have to say that if Mondays were erased, we'd only start to hate another day of the week. Thus I say we keep it as hating Monday. Otherwise "Case of the Mondays" wouldn't exist.

The first or second year that Ceasers opened we had a meeting scheduled there. Myself and a fellow from Atlanta had reservations there and when we went to check in (It was very late at night) they didn't have common folks rooms left. They gave each of us a pent house room on the top floor. The room was about like a house. The king size bed was raised about three foot high on a platform with steps going up to it. It had one of those fancy covers over the top of it. Think maybe it was one of those rooms for millionaires to be in when they were out there gambling. We used to have a meeting most year in Vegas and I went almost every year up until I retired. We would occasionally have it in some other city but they would always return to Vegas.

It is a nice place to visit if you have never been. Now I have been and do not plan to go back.
