Hey...hubby picked that one out...I wanted Jared. As far as the last name...what can I say...I married into it but they both were born with it!

How long do you figure it'll take me to get there I'd have to drive from Northern IL?
WWH2, it may be nationwide, perhaps?

Wonder if SM could trike on over and pick us up some chicken sandwiches since i can't leave work until 7 pm??
Uhm, yeah. The likelihood of that happening is the same as my running an errand for you at Walmart or picking up a latte from Starbucks.

But hold tight to those dreams, Santa; it's the stuff that's life's made of.

On second thought, that would not work because I would want Sweet Tea with mine and she would not be caught delivering sweet tea to anyone.
Y'all are catchin' on pretty quick!

Maybe we are related. I have cousins with the last name Pollard (assuning that is yours).

The McDonalds thing is supposed to be nationwide.

It is like a Chick-fil-a sandwich.

I have to confess that I'm one of the few Southerners who can't stand sweet tea.

I apologize on behalf of myself, my family, and the great state of Tennessee.

I have seen the pictures in the store. It looks like a fried piece of chicken on a bun, with maybe a pickle on it, unlike their other chicken sandwiches with tomato and lettuce.

Maybe I will get one on my way out of town.

BTW. My male cat is a big sissy. He is hiding under the covers with the plumber coming in and out of the house.

And my female cat is hiding too, under the bed I think.

Go ahead.

I was having dinner with my neighbor and her mom the other day, and my friend tells her mom that (a) I make her drink water and (b) I won't let her drink soda.

That just cracked me up!

I refuted her on point a . . . and her reply to me was, "Well you don't make me drink it; but that's all you have to drink when I come over."

When I refuted her on point b, her reply to me was, "Well, I just feel so guilty in front of you whenever I drink a soda because I know you don't drink them."

People crack me up sometimes. Often, in fact.

Actually, Santa, those stats are not just for SingingNews; they encompass the entire umbrella of portals under Faith Community Network (of which SN is one of those portals).

Is pharmacy James new major in school??

Caution

A pharmacy major named James was taking a course in Dispensing. One day they were discussing the various labels affixed to prescription containers, such as, "Take with food," and "Take with water."

At the end of class, the professor passed out a few sample labels.

Days later he noticed that James had struck one of them onto his chemistry textbook. It read:
"Caution: May cause extreme drowsiness."

All of the Dottie Rambo threads was moved from SG to Music. I just check and no one has posted since yesterday. Amazing people don't go there and post about her like they were in SG.

Bobby, there's been 3 posts made today in one of Dottie's thread. It's the one that Daniel started to tell of her death, that has now been renamed Dottie Rambo Memorial thread.

Also, I know that that since there's a forums-wide rule on not starting multiple threads for the same reason that the moderators had to close a few of them and link them all to the memorial thread.

I must have hit Larry Ferguson thread.

Yes, I understand the mods closing and moving everything to one thread. I figured that was going to happen when everyone was starting their own thread about her.

Surely even McD's could not mess up a chicken sandwich.

I've had one and I thought it was pretty bad.

I knew about the giveaway today and did not want a free one...we went to Chick-fil-A.

That's just my opinion.
