Dear Brethren,

Now we come down to the end. One of my employees committed fraud. It will be hung on me. I will face litigation and jail time. I have offered every cent i have, can borrow, and will every have so that I can avoid this problem. It happened on my watch, I accept it.

I would ask for prayer. I pray for a solution. I have committed my heart to God years ago. I just hung up praying with the pastor, I offered my resignationfrom the eldership, I will not embarrass my Lord or my church.

Please pray for me. Now I need a miracle.

I am confused, why are you the one facing jail time for someone else committing the crime though. If he is the one that committed fraud, shouldn't he be the one paying up and also
doing the jailtime whether it was on your watch or not, he is the one that did it....

I am so sorry you are dealing with this....I pray dear Lord, please give my friend Tim a
miracle and for him not to be punished, let the real fraud do the time for what he has done.
Please keep Tim safe and get him through this difficult time Lord, give him peace, love and
strength to know that you will take care of this situation...

Father,

We acknowledge that you know what is best for Tim at this stage. Please honor his willingness to accept responsibility because of this occurance being on his watch, but please come to his rescue. We ask in Jesus Christ's name that you make the situation good. Amen.

This is happening to me also.
I take comfort that nothing really matters, except HIS plan for my life.
The Earth and the fullness thereof is the LORD's. Ultimately everything is under his control, and whatever the outcome know that He has ordained or allowed it for a purpose. Character above comfort. Him above our selfish needs. Run the race my friend, do not faint. DO not give up hope, and keep bugging your Father...pray like the prophet did, for rain!

Know this..He loves you, and weeps when we suffer, but it is his choice to intervene or not, for HIS purpose.

Well as we say down in Illinois, we got down to the short rows.

Here is the bottom line. I am bent but not broken and it appears that the I will not be put in a situation where I am at risk. They want me to form a company to generate the rest of the deficit.

You always look for reasons for this, why me, what did I do? Well I did some stupid things trying to help the company and it bounced back to hurt me.

But:
1. I have my health.
2. I have some resources left.
3. I have a wife who loves me through all this.
5. I have friends in the US who like me, respect me, and will try to help me.
6. I can survive for a few months before I get nervous.
7. I am establishing great contacts in Mexico. Now I just have to pray to get over my anger against the whole country.
8. I have Elders that support me and pray for me (I offered to resign last night, I dont want to embarras the church).
9. I have friends who love me and pray for me.
10. I have my kids.

At 50 I really can't change jobs yet. Maybe in a year when this gets cleared up. But I would feel so liberated to get this on the path to closure.

I really appreciate your support, prayers, and love.

My final take away. I was too much in love with money. I was always worried about keeping it, protecting it, etc. And I think God said," who are you going to trust, your money or me?" I have new goals to trust more, laugh more, not worry about the future. I had thought to have a nice retirement, fish alot on a nice boat, maybe fish saltwater tournaments, now, if I just have Ruth and the kids, I will be the happiest guy in world.

And I have learned alot of new scripture, for me the best being Psalm 118:5,6 In my anguish I cried to the Lord, and he rescued me by setting me free. The Lord is with me, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

More later, just please continue to prayer for successful termination of everything next week.

And thanks for your great examples...who I am is a reflection of you.

YES, WE LOVE AND TRUST GOD, AND NOT WHAT WE CAN WORK OUT, RIGHT? THAT IS WHERE BOB AND I ARE AND MUST STAY, NO MATTER WHAT THE 'PIECE OF PAPER' OR THE 'TEST' SAYS.

Nan, it is all about trust. I pray for you and Bob every day. As for me, I just ask for some balm to get through this.

It is close but it is going to cost me a year of indentured servitude. To God be the Glory, his will be done, and I submit myself to his leading at all time.

Tim, I will be praying for you. I fully understand. I too have had to make the decision, money or the Lord. Well, the Lord won, of course.

Our Heavenly Father,
We ask that you touch this man and give him the all the healing he needs.
We ask that you show him forgiveness and have him forgive himself.
We ask that you restore his company to newness and full of life.
We ask that you you have the employee that committed this to step up and face charges of fraud.
We ask that you Father God show peace and comfort to Tim.
We ask that you perform a miracle Lord where Tim is concerned.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

I thank you all. I finally got back to Miami today after 3 weeks in Mexico, was driving my pickup around the had tears overwhelmingme, my wife is out of town taking her folks back to Michigan. Then I know that someone was praying for me, for the word came with Gods help you can do this, be strong.

I dont think we all know how strong prayer is. I thank each and every one of you.
