Thanks everyone...

I wanted to share something...

We have been praying fo quite some time now for God to gift us with dreams and visions.... and He has been answering. Every so often... we will wake from a dream that we know is from God and are always amazed.

Well, yesterday... God gave my husband a vision. He said this was actually the first vision he has received. He said we, (he and I) were before a man that was dressed immaculately and was about 7 feet tall. We were telling him our plight and he stood up and said, "Don't you know that the angels of the Lord are all around you?" and my husband said, "no... we can't see them." And the man said, "There is one between you right now."... and he raised his hand to about nine feet tall as if it were over the angel... showing us where the angel was.

I just thought I would share... and would love to have your thoughts on it.
Thank you again for your prayers...
Much love... Pastor Debi

One of my favorite devotion books is called:
"Streams in the Desert" (by Mrs. Charles Cowman)

Here is part of today's devotion.
It made me think of you and your Husband...

May 14
He Knows Us...

God wants people that He can depend upon...

God can be depended upon; He wants us to be just as decided, as reliable, as stable. This is just what faith means...

God is looking for men on whom He can put the weight of all His love and power and faithful promises. God's engines are strong enough to draw any weight we attach to them. Unfortunately the cable which we fasten to the engine is often too weak to hold the weight of our prayer; therefore God is drilling us, disciplining us to stability and certainty in the life of faith. Let us learn our lessons and stand fast. --A. B. Simpson

God knows that you can stand that trial; He would not give it to you if you could not. It is His trust in you that explains the trials of life, however bitter they may be. God knows our strength, and He measures it to the last inch; and a trial was never given to any man that was greater than that man's strength, through God, to bear it.

Check out the web site to see it in full!

(It is a wonderful daily devotional!)
I pray it blesses and encourages you!!
Remember all God has brought you through in the past!
He is in the center of today too!
God is faithful!!!

Wow... you do not know how much of a word that was for me. I heard something similar to that years ago... and in all my learning and teaching... I forgot that. [&o]

Thank you for igniting me!!!! And thank you so much for your prayers.
Much love
Debi

Debi I agree with you and was blessed by that as well. It would be great if you could list how we could pray for you specifically.

Hi Tim...
Thank you for asking about my needs. Every day we seem to be attending to everyone else's needs and so it is nice to hear someone actually ask about ours.

Spiritually...
For strength... courage... For the Word to come forth from us in truth and love... For God to lead us and direct us... to be in the center of His will... For God to reveal His plan to us. For God to build His church... for revival in the people here, etc.

Materially...
Finances... we are behind on everything. As I said before, we do not yet get a salary... it has been simply love offerings that have sustained us thus far. We have applied for work throughout this valley... and can't even land a minimum wage job (Our past job when we moved here... we were both making $24 an hour... so together that is $48 per hour! That job was suppose to be our last... was suppose to last forever... they made us huge promises... but they closed down after we put in 1 1/2 years of blood, sweat and tears.). So, unfortunately we have credit card bills and a large car payment and rent, etc. We have applied everywhere.... yet no doors are opening. Along with owing all these bills and being 2 months behind... we are dealing with guilt and shame over it... [&o] and have to continually come against it.

Physically....
I have been dealing with a small physical ailment... that is very painful for about 3 months now. No insurance... no money... so, no doctor. Relying on God to heal me and praying that it isn't anything worse than what I think it is.

Emotionally...
Aaaarrrgghhhhhh!!! You would think we had a handle on this stuff by now! [:@] The enemy knows our week spots. For Dave... it's discouragement. Lately I have seen glimpses of a spirit of depression trying to get ahold of him... PLEASE pray against this! For me... years ago I dealt with the worst anxiety attacks possibley known to man. Extreme panic.... and now, they are trying to come back. Sadness... lonelyness... that effects me too. As I said before, there is no-one that I have to just talk to here. And... I'm not sure I want to. If I share that I am having troubles... there is always someone out there who will twist it. I have enough troubles without that.

Well... you asked! [:)] Sorry to throw all that out there!

Oh wait... on top of everything... Our son, his wife and his 1 year old son have been living with us for a year... (it was suppose to be 2 weeks![sm=aside.gif] [8|]) And then, our daughter, son-in-law and their two children, a 2 year old girl (my little avatar on the left there) and a 9 month old boy... have temporarily moved in due to the fact that they are doing a "flip-this-house" thing and it wasn't quite ready to move into when their rent was up on their previous house. Soooooo... three babies under the age of 2. [sm=icon_smile_faint.gif]WOW! We sure love them though... praise God we have them!

Thank you all for your prayers...
much love...
Pastor Debi (and Pastor Dave)

Father,

I lift up your servants here. Father they are doing you work, following your instructions to go into the world and teach and baptize.

Father I pray for health and strength for each one of them. Please heal Debi's illness. I pray especially for their mental courage and strength. I so empathize with them with their battles, and father give them an overcoming spirit, fill them with your spirit as you did the apostles on the day of Pentacost, let them reveal your will and teaching.

Their are bruised and battered and it is hard to hear whispers. Shout Father, let them know they are loved and in your care.

Open the doors in the community that need to be opened, and open the wallets that need to be opened as well. Help them to find the other work that they need father, give them an immediate blessing that they can feel and realize and know that they are not alone.

Lift their spirits Father, in Jesus Name we pray expectantly, AMEN

Praise God for all he is doing in your life, and through your life!
Much of what you mentioned, I have also suffered in the past...
(God is amazing through it all! You will see!)
You mentioned Anxiety.
This article may be of help! (Please read the whole thing,
it is really good!)

I gotta run! I'm babysitting and someone is hungry and needs me!
Love, hugs and prayers!!!

Tim...
Thank you for your continued prayers, they are so needed... and thanks for asking God to shout... there is too much comotion to hear His still small voice, like you said.

Imnotmyown...
Thank you so much for the hug... I could feel it and I needed it. Back at ya'... (((((((Imnotmyown)))))).

Ignited...
Thank you again for your wisdom. and your positive outlook. Thanks for the article... it was really good. I printed it out for my dh to read also.

My battle with anxiety was a very long one... and I haven't had many problems for close to 8 years. The anxiety comes from fear... which was the co-hort or the instigater of the anxiety. So I could identify with some parts of the article.

Thank you again...
I appreciate you all and all your prayers.
Bless you...

I am also praying in agreement.

Heavenly Father,
We ask a simple prayer:
Let them hear your voice in this wilderness.
Help them Lord with all these difficulties.
We give you ALL the honor, praise and glory for the things that you so richly deserve.
We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.

Keep your eyes on the Lord!
There is a reason for everything!
(Can I ask a question? Have you ever
had hard times in the past, and still had joy?)
Remember God is on the throne!
Remember all He has done in the past!
Remember and ponder the miracles He has done
in the Bible! (It will strengthen your faith!)
God bless you!

Thank you for praying... yes, I need to hear God's voice in this wilderness. It's so hard.

Ignited...
Thank you for your continued prayer. Oh yes, been through the fire more times than I can remember... and yes, I have built pillers of rememberance. Often that is what carries me through. Many times I have to make myself go back and piece every thing together... all the answers, the directions, etc.
Thank you so much for encouraging me.

Thank you for your continued prayer... I so appreciate you and your heart for God.

Thank you, and Ruth, for your continued prayers for us... we are blessed by you.

May our God and Father richly bless each and every one... We are humbled by the love you pour out.
