WE HAVE A MASCOT!!!!!!

Lisa, Michelle and I were quite successful in our search Now we need to see who will be willing to host said fella and take pictures with him.

The rules of the game are quite simple: One person has him for a week. This gives him plenty of time to hang out, visit local sights, and meet new friends. After that week the person will then hand him off. It can be done two different ways. You can either send him on to the next person on the list, or you can send him to me and I can send him on. Either way is fine with me.

We just want to have fun with him, but we also want to see other people have fun with him as well. IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR PICTURE DISPLAYED THEN YOU’RE PROBABLY BETTER OFF NOT PARTICIPATING

Now...first things first. While we have our new guy, he doesn’t have a name. We need someone to name him. Sooooo...put your thinking caps on and see if you can’t come up with an amazing name for our new mascot *grin*

If you want to have me send it to you versus another member, I will PM you when it’s your turn to get your mailing information. Just expect it to take a little longer as it has to go from the previous host, to me, then to you.

If you are getting it directly from someone else, when they get the mascot, simply PM your information to them.

Any questions feel free to ask but I'm real excited about this and hope everyone who can will participate.

The ONLY request I make is that we make sure he is able to make it to the GT. If that means making sure he's sent to someone's house who is going, or just sent to John's and wait for everyone's arrival.

Other than that, I'll post pics of his adventures with me and we'll go from there!!! *huggles*

Here he is, getting ready to go to a Skillet concert.

Before the concert we stopped at Chik Fil A for a bite to eat and we shared a milkshake in the van to the concert.

He was tired the next day so here he is taking a nap on my desk at work. I felt bad for the little guy so I let him rest. [:)]

Nap time's over!!! So now we decide to check the forums and see who's poking about and what's going on. He loooves reading the posts and we had a good time discussing everyone's thoughts.

We hit a slow moment at work so we decided to send an email to Michelle and see how she's doing. He definitely loves emailing people so if you have him, make sure he has time to send messages out!

This is him drinking my Coke. He thought he was sly, but I saw him...lol

We got back from the concert real late so here he is hamming with my best friend, Kyoudai. We watched a movie and talked and laughed on the trip home.

We visited with my best friend for lunch and he had an opportunity to snuggle with her.

Want to know a fun fact about Skreyola? He enjoys crochet and let our little friend snuggle in his blanket. They got along quite nicely.

Here we are, hamming with another best friend of mine. We had a blast at a single's gathering last night and managed to get a few pictures.

And this is him with...tada!!! Tink and Skreyola!!!!

Oh, Tink, those pictures are adorable!! I'm afraid that when I have him, he'll have a boring life. [:D]

As far as naming him, I'm not very creative with coming up with names. Though he does look like a Jose, or maybe Herbie. [:D]

Well, not that there's anything terribly interesting around here, but I'll sign up.

(We do have a hot air balloon festival sometime in June, and the big county fair in August.)

I could put him in one of our labs and have him wear some laser safety goggles... [sm=icon_smile.gif]

Ok, sign me up. I'm definitely interested in being part of this!

now...as far as a name. My four kids are all around looking at these adorable pics of this little guy...and they all shouted:

"MARVIN K MOONEY, WILL YOU PLEASE GO NOW!!"

If you are a parent, you may remember this as the title to a Dr. Seuss book--which we, as parents, came to HATE.

But this little guy looks like a Marvin and he'll be GOING all over the place.

My suggestion!

I'll send it to Michelle tomorrow and from there depending on time we'll see who will get it next. I assume Robb will and then he can pass it on to someone who for sure will be at the GT.

I just realize that was a cross-post... Sorry, Tink. Didn't see your post first. However you want to do is it fine with me. I can still pass along the goodies to Lisa even if I send our little guy to Robb first.

I updated the list and will continue to do so as we get more volunteers. [:D]

I know it's a ways away ... but I am going to Chicago in July. If I can manage to meet some singles for dinner one night, maybe I'll host him ... but I'll know better closer too. Right now the most exciting place I could take him is the flea market.
