Dear Lord The sadness of seeing those little hands poking out from under the rubble of that devastated school today So many lives lost in less than 60 seconds - it just doesn't seem real and we seem so far removed from this situation. Please be close to those who have lost loved ones and with all those who anxiously wait for news of missing loved ones For those still trapped under buildings afraid and lonely - be especially close For those injuired and still to be rescued - be especially close I don't know what to pray Lord - this devastation seems so unreal and yet it is so real to many thousands at this moment in time So many people have been rushed into eternity today...... what does this mean to Your church? Lord this poem is on my mind ...... quote: All around the world each day, Many people at work or play At home and across the sea; Many people have not heard of the Good News in God's Word What should this mean to me? Should I think of them each day? Should I give and show God's way? God loved and gave His Son! Help me Jesus to obey; Pray for others and point the way - Then one day hear "Well done" --- wmc Help us to obey what Your Holy Spirit says to our hearts about this great sadness Lord.

Father, help us to pray. Father help all these people, young and old. Hold them close, help them to look to You Lord. Hold those who are trapped, or injured, or have lost loved ones close Lord. Meet the needs of each one. Father, may Your will be done in all of this. May You turn something very good out of what to us seems very bad. We love You Lord and we trust You. In Jesus name. Amen

Definitely praying in agreement, it was very upsetting to see the dead people on TV last night when they were showing on the news..SO SAD.... I am praying for everyone in China.. AMEN kc

here is 1 fm china. still alive n praying. God pls comfort us n those in need in this great sadness. in christ jesus amen! p.s. there are nearly 10,000 dead. especially what a sadness for those mothers who lost their children on Mother's Day today! (i am 1300 kms fm sichuan)

Brachah, I was so glad to see your post! I was thinking about you just a few minutes ago, wondering if you were ok. Father, thank You for Brachah's safety. Continue to protect him and help him, and use him to Your glory. Father, continue to help them to find the living and bring them out safely. Keep the workers safe also. Comfort those that are injured, who have lost loved ones, they're homes, everything. You know what each one needs far better than we do Lord. Please meet those needs. So many people Lord! The one's that remain must all be in shock. Help them Lord. Turn hearts there to You. We need You Lord. In Jesus precious name. Amen

Heavenly Father So much death and destruction Only You can bring good out of this sad situation Help them to know that You know their pain, suffering and anguish And that You want to give them hope in place of despair Have mercy Father and knock on these dear people's hearts And let them know that You love them Help these people to open the door of their hearts to your compassion and great love AMEN

Father God please show your mercy to the people effected by this disator, please send them help in your speed and relief from the devistation. Please heal all whom are hurt, help the back to prosperity and give them peace and shelter. In Christ's Holy name Amen.

Lord, please help these people who have lost their families, who have family members missing, for families who have lost their mothers, fathers, and their precious babies/children. Please bring peace and comfort and healing to all those in China right now, that they may be able to rebuild what has been destroyed so that they may be able to have life back to normal in some way. Dear Lord, I pray now in Jesus Name, that You may turn your abundant mercy and grace to this hurt land. I pray that people will not be hungry, cold, or especially lonely. Jesus but even if they do, this one thing I pray for them, that the pure Word of the gospel may be sowed into their hearts. Lord, let every human heart hear the good news of Jesus. Lord what can we do but pray for the people who are there. If there are Christians in China, then flare up their hearts with your Holy Spirit. If there is broken hearts Lord, then You are the one known for mending them. I pray this by the blood of Jesus, Amen. Lord help us as Christians in America to do all we can to do Your will.
