She won the south pacific title for Muay Thai modified rules (no elbows). She is going to train for the world title now. I know she can win as well! Her and I sparred together and no, I was not the punching bag. It was a bit both ways.

I hope she wins the world title, she is a good chick. She is 6 kgs heavier than me. She fights at 65 kgs. I am usually 60 or 59. She is also taller and has a longer reach than me.

She got offered a gig in Gladiators and I was happy for her. Then I saw her at the shopping centre and she had a black eye. I knew it would have been a good fight. It was because she got the title. (I like black eyes like that, not the drawn on ones by women who try to look good but don't but the ones that are got through conflict, I know I am strange)[sm=pirate.gif][sm=rollingeyes.gif][sm=purplelaugh.gif][sm=smilecrossbone.gif][sm=dance.gif].

You know sometimes I think I missed out because of my age they won't allow me to fight even though I know I can win. Still coming to terms with the fact God has other plans for me.

Patience is what I need most, God give me patience to wait for your time and your gig not mine. As I know He will glorify Himself through me not myself.

Thanks you know of all things a woman would want to do[&:], mum wonders where she went wrong "I spent plenty of money for your ballet in one of the best academies in the world" she says "why on earth would you want to fight instead?"

I don't know why. I think it is because it is not a sexual thing. It doesn't give off sexual connotations the way dance does (I know not all dance is like this but when you get spectators they mostly look at the same things).

Anyway it is so carnal though I think the discipline involved is quite spiritual and I also know He wil come back with His saints to fight, I want to be there and ready with Him . thanks for the prayers, going through lots at the moment.[:(]

When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a truck driver. Unheard of for a girl then! [;)]

Haha! really? I used to think all truck drivers were tough because they were driving big machines[:D]. I was very impressionable. Still am sometimes[:D]

Keep up the training, my 8 year old daughter comes Kickboxing training with me and is going for her green belt first tip on Sunday.

yes, I teach my 2 yo grandson a few moves (in the picture) and I grapple with him as well[:D]. He shapes up better than he talks[:D]. I have to teach him that fighting should only be used in circumstances of defence, that is a whole new lesson.[&:] He doesn't understand the concept of size so he has no fear. It's a worry sometimes[:D].

Not allowed to do security work and waiting for a licence to teach. Many security and police I could disarm quite easily. Not many are very skilled in technique and many don't stand like they are ready. I often go through drills in my head as I walk the street. I size people up and work on technique if an attack were to happen. I was foced to learn to fight on the street and in prison so even though I have been training with technique for 4 yrs, I have been fighting since the age of 18.
