Your sincere apology is received in the manner given.

Nope, won't vote for Hillary either (just what IS it about the abortion process that causes so many Dems get almost orgasmic over the idea?) Truth be told, I'll most likely do a write-in vote this year. I left too many of my bros facedown in the mud to dishonor their memory by not voting at all...although the pull to do just that is strong this year.

Oh well. Rawk on, O'bam. You're almost there.

Bee, I have always respected and thought very highly of you. I chose the word only for its dictionary meaning, nothing more. If you are unlling to accept that, then I'm afraid for what the coming election will do to this country.

If ANY candidate skipped my state, I would feel snubbed no matter what my support might have been before the primary.

Have you ever been to Kentucky?

P.S. That was a joke, in case anyone did not know. I live in Cincinnati, and we have a friendly rivalry with our neighbors to the south.

Well it take a lot less work to establish a political base in Kentucky.

I think this is because once you have gotten one cousin's vote, the the other cousin will likely follow their spouse's lead.

Part of it also is that Obama is assured the nomination based on the current rules, and wants to focus on McCain now. West Virginia is full of hard working uneducated white people who are bitter cause a black man called them bitter, and that is Hillary's new found base. Some of those people interviewed are convinced that Obama is a Muslim, and some that he's a terrorist. One voter said he wasn't racist, but he wanted a "full blooded American" for president. That's what Obama was up against.

Cincinnati resident here as well. But in my bones, I'm a by-golly Kentucky stump-jumper. Born in Boyle County (we hillbillies always tell our county) and would like to be buried there, should Jesus tarry.

I abhor Obama's political views, but I equally abhor the ignorance that dogs his campaign. I think he can be beat in a straight up contest on the issues and the sort of men he and McCain are, and not the ridiculous rumors and innuendoes that surround him.

Most presidential candidates skip over my state. I feel pretty happy about it.

I agree that he can be beaten easily enough, but I don't think McCain has the testosterone needed to do it. Where is Ronnie Reagan when we need him?
