Hey goldcityquartet fan! I hate to hear that....I hope that you didnt take my post as insult. I DO believe that Sould Out has a real heart for ministry and hope they win it! They do deserve it! I know that Matt Rankin will agree with me that if they do win Horizon Group of the year, it could help them get into new areas to minister. Dusty and I are good friends and I know that they love the Lord

I've not had the opportunity to see Soul'd Out in concert yet. Hearing so many good things about them, I went to YouTube and searched for some of their video. They do some really beautiful hymns. Has anyone seen their "Beautiful Star" video? That is such a beautiful song - I was confused as to why they posted that rendition. Be curious for some feedback. Can't wait to see them at NQC on mainstage this year! [:D]

beautiful star lol....what a night that was haha...honestly, we were in the rv acting our shoesize and not our age lol...our bass singer, matt fouch, was singing the sing as retardedly as possible and brent and i just filled in the harmonies...i think it's pretty funny...it's just some a humorous activity we decided to film and make a video...however i do apologize for the "random flashing" that occurs...that's B roll footage that got stuck in the main video haha! needless to say, we were just having a good time in good christian fun!

No insult taken. I understand what you meant. I have been a fan of SG for many years and I have seen the groups come and go. Normally the ones that stay around ARE the few that have their heart in the right place. There have been a few that have stuck around like a hair on a biscuit as George Younce would say. I only mention the other group because I feel this is one of the top reasons SG is suffering. Groups like that worry more about awards and being featured in the Singing News then they do putting out great music. If they had great music they wouldn't have to work so hard promoting themselves. Cream rises to the top. I admire Tanner for being honest and saying who he is on here. He comes across as a young adult who is a fan of SG and happens to be an artist. It's great to hear his insight. Good luck Tanner, Im pulling for you guys.

Oh yeah. Im sure its going to be one of their best. From what I've heard so far, Bruce is going to help take these guys to a whole new place. Their sound has been changing over the last couple years and I think he will help finish it out. This is a AWESOME lineup. Wouldn't it be great to see a reunion at NQC of all the Gold City members of the past while Tim could still come?I can dream.
