I have an interview lined up for Monday at a HUGE law firm. I know that I have been one of the 25 selected to interview (out of 135 ppl). I completed the testing already the only two phases left are interviews.

I have never been so nervous about an interview in my life! From what I understand it is suppose to be 3 ppl interviewing me and should last 45 mins to 1 hr.

I need help! PLEASE let me know if you have any advice.

Do as much research on the firm as possible, so you can ask "knowledgeable" questions.....ask questions that lets them know you did your "homework" about the firm. Thankfully, the internet has made it easier than EVER to do so.

Do not ask "mundane" questions, such as those about HR benefits, and all that sort of thing in your "group interview"....that's for later on....

the BIG question i asked in my interview, which helped me the job here (from what I was told), was: I asked the interviewers, "WHY should I accept a job offer here?".....kind of "turn the tables" on them...if you see an opportunity to do so towards the end.

it's kind of early in the morning...and that's all I can think of for now...perhaps I'll think of more later on...

If you are one of the 25 to be interviewed, the firm must already see something they find attractive in you and your abilities. They have already checked you out and believe you could have what it takes to work with them. Also, three people interviewing is not much different than one. Pray for the Lord's will before you go in and be yourself.

I'm in a similar situation as you are. I have been interviewing for attorney positions as well. I have been interviewed by as many as 8 people at a time. You'll be fine with three. Just make sure you try and make eye contact with each of them, even if only one is doing the majority of questioning. Expect to start off with the generic "Tell me about yourself." Have a good answer prepared for "why do you want this job?" and "why should we hire you?" I have a tendency to start rambling on these questions, and once the rambling starts, it's easy to get lost.
As others have mentioned, ask intelligent questions when given the oppurtunity to do so.
Pray about it, relax, and you'll do great! If you've already been chosen from such a large pool of applicants, you are obviously well qualified and you have a good chance at the position.

I know your interview is over, but another thing is to find the questions, and write up answers on the weekend. That way when they ask a question, you have a prepared answer, and you won't get lost in you answer.
