ORIGINAL: Brandy Whatever happens, enjoy your time with husband and babe. It will go so fast!! That's for sure, Brandy!!! My little one will be 5 next week & it seems like yesterday that I was pregnant with him.... EmilyAnn--keep your chin up. You can do this...regardless of what your family does or says. Remember...this is YOUR child...not THEIRS. (Hope that comes across in the kind way I meant it...it sounds a little harsh reading it).

I just had another midwife appointment. Everything looked great! David is head down, engaged, and in the ideal position!!

She felt from the outside. She said she couldn't be 100% sure that way, but was pretty sure. She said his head was really low and she couldn't make it bounce up like she could before. (or something like that) No new symptoms except not being able to sleep. I have been staying up all night and not falling asleep until 4 or 5 in the morning and napping off and on throughout the day. I can't sleep at all between 10 and 4 at night when normal people sleep. The hip pain (especially my left hip) and lower back pain are getting worse each day.

Emily - a warm soak in the bathtub would usually always work wonders on me toward the end of my pregnancy when I couldn't sleep. If nothing else I could atleast lay there without getting uncomfortable and be relaxed.

That is rough. What did the Dr say at your last appt? What is causing you not to be able to sleep? Just the position of the baby? Or is it hard lying down?

Well, the cleft lip and polydactyl would have to be caused in the first trimester, as that is when those parts are formed. As for uterine contractions...if you're term anyway... I have yet to find any drug a class A for pregnancy, at least not any I have looked up. So B would not phase me either.
