All of them happily sold in a mutually beneficial transaction.

Now, they are free to buy land elsewhere, if they wish.

Exactly. So what is the point of this thread?

A wealthy couple purchase land to preserve it - and control others from exploiting it (which is far different than "controlling nature".

I guess what we are commenting on is how the owners are complaining how nature has taken over! I find it kind of ironic! Maybe others do too! I think it's actually just sour grapes on their part for losing $50 million!
